It's all looking good man! What made you go with that clutch? Also, can you give specs on it somewhat?

Super happy for you bud. I’ve been in the same situation in 2015 but all is built and good enough for now.

New to me front bumper (the license plate frame will be removed)

    Wotbox is installed

Will be driving up tomorrow to go to the shop, burp the coolant, set the fpr pressure, drive it around the block hitting some boost and doing some engine braking...and as long as we don't have any leaks, change the oil and drive it home and start tuning

I’ve had pretty good luck with my Xclutch. I put about 1000 miles on it before I started running it real hard and it was around 1500 miles before I started flat foot shifting it. I’m not at your power level but mine has worked good so far

I'll be right around where you were power wise (mid 600ish) since I'm still running 10mm head studs and have to keep tq under 550, so I have hope it'll do me well.

    Also update.

Went on Monday to pick up the car, and came back without it. They didn't want to fire it up for more than 30 seconds or take the first drive without me there, which ended up wasting me a 5 hour round trip.

Fired the car up and the vband holding the turbo to the manifold had a massive leak (like 17.5-18afr leak). You could stick your hand down by the clamp and feel air gushing out. We repositioned the clamp a few times and tightened it down with no success. The bolt for the clamp probably stretched and wasn't allowing it to completely tighten up and seal.

So...got a few vband clamps from buddies @_Mazdarati and Bryce Williams also sent me one since the two I ordered from summit and jegs ended up being on back order even though they listed them as in stock. Both clamps arrived yesterday. So they'll be swapping out today and trying again.

This time I told em no exceptions, start it up, burp the coolant and take it for a drive (log on AP) do some cruising while varying rpm, engine braking and some low boost pulls. Then report back to me if I should go pick it up on Monday.

    Fingers crossed

Picked the ms6 up on Monday! Lots of varying rpm, engine braking, and spring pressure pulls getting the rings seated.

About 250 miles in so far and so far so good aside from my ebcs taking a shit. So I'll be ordering up a replacement here sooner than later.

Engine bay tidied up compared to before. I do need to get all the piping color matched, but that's not a priority right now

It is. The ebcs took a shit, so I'm stuck on spring pressure lol.

Welp, @Awafrican deleted my last 2 posts trying to merge them lol.

    So here we go.

Got a fresh log in today on my base map. The ebcs decided to work on this pull...but I still have a replacement coming from Eric Yarbrough.

Fueling needs tidied up, but better to be on the rich side for safeties sake. Once the fueling is straightened out and I have a good ebcs, it's time to turn it up!

Also, the twin disc has been an adjustment to drive on. I feel like a total noob taking off from a stop due to the high engagement and the small grab point it has. Nothing some practice can't fix.

    Sorry about that.

Nothing like a casual 544awhp with a ebcs that's on the fritz looking forward to seeing it get dialed in.

i think im gonna stop right here and just dial in the fuel to get afr flat until i get this car on a dyno. Being on 10mm head studs, TQ needs to stay under 550 for any sort of longevity. Once i have it on a dyno (which may be a bit since im recovering from the labor cost of the build/swap), then i can see if i can add some more power up top.

The cams on this thing are ridiculous to say the least. The power band has definitely shifted to the right, as the 6266 is spooling slower now than it was on the stock motor (its not even worth it to start a log at 3k or below lol), however up top...its an animal.

    8-14-22 4th.jpg

This is 37psi peak around 6500 rpm, tapering down to 34ish up top. 14* timing at the 7600 rev limit

as you can see here, there's some rich spots throughout the pull, those are the next order of business to take care of and get the AFR to around a flat 11.4-11.76

    8-14-22 datas.jpg

Now to get some content going on the YouTube channel. been super tied up with work since getting the car back on monday. But for 6 days in, im pleased that 3 revisions in, we're here!
