Glad to help, brother. I am so happy to see that thing running. Nothing but motivation for me, but I just need to spend more money. Please come find me if you're ever up around Metro Detroit, I miss you <3

I like the car but that video reminds me of the old Myspace pages.

Please make some brackets to support and secure the fuel line feeding the pi fuel rail. Those long flops are going to ruin your day sooner rather than later.

Took a trip back to northeast Ohio this weekend for @Realgib3 wedding.

Went 345 miles on 12 gallons on e48 on the way up there, averaging 80mph and giving it a few pulls. Which was nice.

On the way back, hit 1k miles on the motor and also rolled 100k miles on the chassis. Time to switch over to synthetic oil 20220828_121738.jpg

On another note, while back home, my parents informed me that my mom has Breast cancer and will be starting an aggressive 5 month chemotherapy treatment shortly. That being said, I likely won't be on here much or on fb/messenger for those of you who communicate with me on there or in other group chats. I'll be making trips up to ohio often with the pups and my girlfriend Michelle to support my mom and dad as much as possible and car stuff will likely be my last priority.

I appreciate everyone's support over the years with this platform, and all I ask is my privacy is respected during this time. Mom is a fighter, so our hopes are up that she'll kick this things ass and make a full recovery.

Till I see yall down the road, godspeed.

Sorry to hear it man, but I'll be praying for her recovery. Glad the car is working for you though. I will be looking forward to hearing that your mom is doing better!

    Been a while.

The new motor lost compression In cyl 2 with around 2700 miles on it. Machine shop that assembled it and did the machine work is no help. So the car is sitting in my driveway for now til I figure out what I wanna do with it.

It will all work out man don't worry. Did it lose it during a pull or anything or just slowly until noticed?

Nope. Just cruising home from work one day last month it started smoking out the exhaust and pushing oil out all 3 vented catch cans.

These shops have all just screwed him over. When will adults take responsibility for the work they put out or the promises they give people and don't keep. Crazy..

If you send me the motor and the parts I'll rebuild it at no labor cost to you. Full blueprint sheet will be included. It would take me a little while though as I'd have to work on it in between all the transmission rebuilds I'm doing at the moment.

It's not hard to measure clearances, clean components, and reassemble. If metal went through the block that's a different situation.

I don't understand how these machine shops can assemble an engine and then it fail and not stand behind their work. I had to replace a head gasket on a Lincoln LS V8. Sent the the head to the machine shop for them to clean it, deck it, reseal the valves, and pressure test it. They send it back and I reinstalled it on the car. I fired the car up and it ran for 20-30 seconds before the engine blew up. It dropped a valve cause they didn't have a retainer in properly.

My service director was pissed. Understandably of course. However I used the timing tools from Ford to time the engine. I tore the engine down and only one valve had dropped out. No other valves weren't bent. The machine shop denied covering a replacement engine.
