Drove about 5 miles so far close to home. Everything 'works' so far but I'm still not convinced there still is not a problem, might just be my mind.

Gonna go for another test drive on some non neighborhood streets here in a bit and judge after that. Have a tray full of oil I have to dump so I can change mine anyways. Roughly 5 miles with some state highway if I choose to get some speed up.

Well maybe things are looking better. No issues in my 10mi trip - everything working as intended - clutch pedal kept pressure, brakes worked. No engine lights or wonky behavior. Have it up again to change the oil and will go for another drive - keep an eye on the fluid levels in the tank and cross my fingers.

Me too man - this bullshit is wearing on me.

I think I'm losing fluid....somewhere. Was "full" in the reservoir when I went to bed last night. This morning the level and fell just below the clutch reservoir feed hole. Checked underneath, the floor, all my calipers, under the where the master comes through the firewall, interior where the clutch master comes through and I do not see any fresh fluid.

Think I'll drive by this shop this afternoon and get a feel for the place. I've had 2 other shops work on the car previously but I'm at a point this isn't a "fun" thing to chase anymore and I'm spending too much time on it.

You have got to BE FUCKING KIDDING ME.

Pulled out the drive way, down the alley, up 1 block and *SNAP* - clutch master plunger snapped behind the pedal, broke off just past the clip.

My car is fucking haunted with stupid shit.

I just can't make this up.

I'm not sure I could install this incorrectly and have it function at all - correct side up, only fits in the pedal assembly one way, pedal is also brand new (old one is technically functional as well from previous posts). Only possibility I can think of is it didn't seat correctly in the firewall gap? Caused it to stick out "too far" and depressing the pedal put too much stress on it?

"New" one from Autozone (sigh) should be here within an hour or so. We'll see if I stay sober enough to do anything else on it tonight.

I feel your hellish (just from reading this) experience. Working on vehicles are pleasure and pain. Hopefully in a short while, it will be a great story to retell. Might take awhile though, or a really long time.
