Hey guys here's my build from Australia.

    Car is a 2006 Gen 1 MPS....have owned it since July 2013 and I'm the 2nd owner.

Played around with bolt-ons then decided BT was the way to go.

Only have 85,000km (about 53,000 miles) so hoping my stock block will last a while with a conservative tune from FREEKTUNE.

    Current mods:
    PTE 5858 JB - V-band in/out, 0.82 AR
    Kozmic Motorsports 4" Intake/K&N Filter
John Russell Custom Top Mount Manifold
    Turbosmart Hypergate 45mm EWG
    Turbosmart Vee Port Pro BOV
    Ultimate Racing 3" Test Pipe
    Rear Muffler Delete
    Proflow Oil Feed/Drain Lines
    Treadstone TR8 FMIC
    JBR EGR Delete
    JBR 3 Port EBCS
Bosch 3 Bar MAP Sensor & JBR PnP Harness
    Autotech HPFP Internals
    Damond Motorsports Sealed OCC
    Damond Motorsports Powersteering Cooler
    Proflow Vented OCC
    BC Coilovers
TWM Short Shifter & solid shifter bushings
    JBR Reverse Lockout
    JBR 88a REM
    Cobb AP V3

    The To-Do List:
    Custom 3" Catless DP
    Custom Screamer Pipe
    Under Route IC piping
Modify VC with -10AN bungs for the vented OCC
    Braided lines for the EBCS/EWG.
    Block8head Vent Pod
    Turbosmart Boost Gauge
    Nitto NT05 235/40/18
    A/C Delete and Alternator Relocation
    Wire Tuck
    Powdercoat VC Wrinkle Black

Car will be remote tuned on the dyno.

    Short term plans:
JMF IM and meth injection later this year mainly to reduce BATs and crack the 400hp mark
    PMM/TMM
    Slotted Rotors/Pads

    Long term plans:
Built motor, clutch and possibly a bigger turbo

After looking at ways to fix clearance issues with the top mount setup and deciding that I want to keep my A/C I've decided to cut my losses and ditch the current setup...really annoying but extra funds coming my way shortly will allow me to have more play money!

Will now be going with a CPE manifold, Kozmic Downpipe and Dumptube, HTP 4" Intake and Underroute Piping Kit.

Going on a holiday in a few weeks and then parts will be ordered.

that sucks about the clearance issue. top mount set ups are always nice.

you'll be happy with the cpe/kozmic stuff. it's what i have.

A fabricator in Aus has made a sidewinder manifold for his car and I'm thinking about getting him to fab one up for me! Such a sexy looking setup

No he was happy to do it but for the price id rather get a jmf aswell as the mani/dp and FJ cooler piping kit.

Ahh yeah I figured it would be pricey. I know they have had some boost creep issues with the fj mani. Just be careful with it. Good luck.

Waiting on a few more things to arrive and some good weather to get this car on the road finally!! Lost interest for a while and was happy to let the car sit but after helping a mate swap a gtx28 into his 6 and summer just around the corner, im more than excited to be cracking the EWG all day long haha

Freektune paid for - hoping to receive a basemap by this weekend and start tuning.

Picking up some fresh oil today and getting my custom coldside welded up.
Also have some NT05s on the way

So i spent the past few days installing everything. Went pretty straight forward apart from stripping one of the bolt holes for the oil return. What would be the easiest way to fix this with the dp in place? Im thinking a slightly longer bolt with a washer or 2 will work or else i may have to re-tap the hole - the bolt itself is fine.
Still waiting for my custom intake and cold side pipe to be done but happy with the progress so far

Finally another update...promotion at work and a growing baby has been keeping me on my toes haha

I ended up getting the return line bolt hole helicoiled and finally had an end to horrible weather here so was able to do my first set if logs for Justin.

Car felt great so far on just the basemap...although I hadn't driven for a year.

Received my 2nd revision this morning but wont get a chance to log til mid week.

Threw my first log into VD

Wasnt really concerened or worried how the car would drive as a daily with the 5858 but glad i went this way...feels great just cruising round town and love how the power comes on with the BT in comparison to a bolted k04.

And man that screamer is addictive...EWG ftw!

Not much to update. Raised my coilovers as the car was maxed out and couldnt stand it anymore.

Noticed a loud knocking sound when hitting bumps...ended up being one of the top nuts on my front left coilover was loose. Tightened it back up and played with the damper settings and the car rides so much nicer.

Did logs for my 3rd revision and looks like im getting a bit of wheelspin once peak boost hits at about 4600rpm....too risky to do 4th gear logs where i live so may finish the tune on a dyno

That's a bummer to see you can't snag some 4th gear logs. Would like to see how your spool is.
Do you have the jmf im on it?

Edit: oh just looked back and saw you have a stock motor, so things are probably more conservative then.

@cshunter will post next set of logs once i get my new map.

No JMF yet...undecided on 6th Port or PI when i build but gonna pick up a PnP mani and meth kit next....mainly for cooler BATs and a bit more power

Well tune is finally done on 98. Justin said the revision which I posted above is as far as we can push it...gonna get it on a dyno in the new year to confirm numbers but Im more than happy with how the car is performing.
