RaiderFab 1st Gen Mazdaspeed 3 Bumper Fitment Fix

Yeah I had speed nuts and hated em. I did install new plastic ones tho. But hey, if they work, they work!

quick update for the pu guys; as it sits at the end of today, i have both latches installed and they're holding the bumper tight. the issue I'll be working on this week is getting it so the bumper itself isn't getting flexed by the latch. it's a slight depression on the bumper but it's not something I would want people to have to endure since it can be annoying to look at. when a solution to this small issue is found, the pu latch fix will be complete.

 

Any preliminary pics? Or are you awaiting full roleout?

As a tease, we got the fenderwell solution nailed down. The issues is up near the headlight

 

You guys are killin me, LOL. And any pics of this solution you mentioned to plug my drilled holes? I guess I'd need to go to a body shop to have them repainted after the patch too?

 

Bondo Bumper repair. Really. I used it on our Sienna. Dries to be like OEM bumper.

 

But then you have to paint it, I'm assuming? Any pics of your Sienna bumper?

 

Well yeah, you got holes in your bumper.

 

I know it's a kinda derp question; I was sorta thinking out loud. My concern is the paint matching/not looking noticeable, which may require a body shop visit... sigh... $$$... sigh...

 

Man up! Bondo! And then get some colour matches paint from Napa and paint it
Edit: even if you paint the entire bumper

 

Hit up the vendor on here that parts out speeds and buy a bumper that is already the right color

 

@FattiMotorWorkss Pu ha an obliterated front bumper. 90% of the cars he gets have front bumper smash mod done.

I will post some pics when I can, still need to adjust one as the top pops out a little. Also my bumper is all scratched and sad looking lol.
