    ^^^^^^^^This
When you do EXACTLY what their instructions tell you to, following every step to the "T," checking and rechecking the whole time, it's on them that following said directions in said manner caused damage to the product is on them. I'm crawled up underneath the car. I can't see it like it's on some lift or anything, and by the time I realized something was amiss, the bolt was already torqued and the bracket already mangled.

Their mistake is they didn't test-fit 2010s and 2011s, assuming they'd be the same as Genwons and 2012s/2013s. There are TONS of minor differences on Speeds, even among Pu years. The lack of exhaustive testing is what caused the issue to slip through QA. But they're making it right, taking full responsibility and providing a replacement and the fix brackets, so I'm happy.

Even though it has no bearing on my car, I'm pleased to see how quickly @Barett@CorkSport and the crew addressed and took care of this to make it right for the people who were/would be affected by this unexpected, oddball fitment quirk. For all the flak people seem to like throwing CS's way, it's hard to argue in my mind that they aren't concerned with taking care of their customers. If this was someone like Cobb, you'd most likely be S.O.L., haha.

Spacers are in with the new bar. Install went off without a hitch. Thanks for taking care of this so quickly guys!

@Barett@CorkSport and @CorkSport - Derrick , please tell Vincent thanks for taking care of me and for the SWAG. I didn't see a return shipping label, so I guess you don't want the old one back?

Props to CS for a quick and competent fix! :D

Heck, if CS doesn't want it back and someone doesn't mind hammering it back into shape (which shouldn't take too much effort), I could send it to someone if they pay for shipping. The only reason I'm not running it is I shouldn't have to use a compromised bar instead of a brand-new bar when I followed the directions exactly (which is why CS replaced it).

It may be helpful to someone else...

Yep, the original bar that was mangled some during installation because CS didn't take into account that some Genpu's have a bracket on the driver's side. The problem:

    The fix:
    upload_2017-3-16_0-22-40.png

You slide the top one in on the passenger's side, between the bar and the control arm. The semi-covered one goes on the driver's side, and brings everything up to the level of the bracket so that the mounting flange sits flush.

I know this is just semantic nitpicking, but I wouldn't say that CS "didn't take it into account" so much as they just weren't aware that there was a difference on the earlier genpus until this thread brought it up (I'd have assumed all pus were the same, ya know?). Don't want to give anyone the impression that @Barett@CorkSport half-assed it when we know he puts his all into the products they release. :)

Yeah, it really is semantics. The thing about Genpu's (and probably Genwon's as well) is that they're not all the same. Variations exist in the USDM cars. Then, even more exist in Canadian models and elsewhere in the world where the Speed is called the MPS.

Honestly, it's hard to even find every variation of every model year. CS does an excellent job in the R&D in light of this, and their parts generally have no issues in terms of fitment. My experience was an aberration, for sure. To be clear: I give props to CS. As it's been said, "To err is human..." Stuff like this is going to happen occasionally. Taking responsibility and fixing it is what counts, and CS did EXCELLENTLY in that regard, and in a timely manner too.

We tested the bar out on 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2012 models. We never hit one with the brackets welded on it during testing. I believe that bracket is for the headlight level link on some model years.
