07 Speed3. Fuel pump internals, Test Pipe, COBB SRI, COBB TIH, FMIC. My 09 Speed3 would pretty much hit commanded afr. This 07 took me awhile to get it dialed, but it wants 11 commanded to get desired 11.7-8. Checked everything, no problems. Runs great and makes 275/350 on e15. Just this commanded afr is driving me crazy! Anyone else have a similar situation? Or maybe a tuner can shed some light? Any info appreciated. I can post logs, or ATR tables you may want to see. Thanks!

Do you have a known good MAF cal? Your MAF being off would effect it. Also, did you change the injector scalar for the E15?

Yes, maf cal good and wot maf cal has no affect on wot afr. I could keep adjusting lean area on wot maf cal and it would literally do nothing. Yes, injector scalar and specific gravity set properly. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar experience? I am happy to get afr where I want it, but confused as to why I need to command 11.1 to get 11.8? One thing I noticed is wot 4th gear(or any gear), if I hold pedal at 90%+ throttle, afr is 11 through pull. But as soon as I put pedal to floor it goes leaner. So basically now wot is good, cruising is good, but I am seeing 11 when under good load, but not fully wot. I thought it was me but DIZZY TUNING was tuning my engine and I looked at his logs closer and I am seeing over 12 afr from 3200 rpm to well over 5k! And that was on pretty much last revision. I don't like seeing 12 on these engines at all under wot above 1.0 load.

The MAF cal most certainly affects WOT. there is some trimming at WOT but it's not much. Not like partial throttle with visible trims. WOT primarily relies on the MAF scale.

That is my concern, wot maf cal did nothing when I was commanding 11.7 and getting mid 12's no matter what I did to wot maf cal. I tried everything, read every post I could find. Only thing that seems to work is commanding lower afr than I need. Swapped maf, and accelerator pedal, no change. Seems hardware related, but car runs great, idles smooth, good vacuum at idle, and makes appropriate power. I am using ots maf cal with my 2nd gear maf cal pasted in lower section right now. Have been making changes with commanded afr and getting afr spot on finally.

This is my commanded vs actual afr:
    3.5k 11.2 to get 11.6
    4k 11.1 to get 11.7
    4.5k 11 to get 11.8
    5k 11 to get 11.7
    5.5k 11 to get 11.8
    6k 11.1 to get 11.7
    6.5k 11.1 to get 11.6

After next log I am going to attempt a wot maf cal to get afr even closer but this is best it has looked yet! Did 5 4th gear pulls yesterday and afr is consistently like above. I seen 1 cell of 11.9 afr in all 5 logs.
[doublepost=1492005073][/doublepost]Yeah, give me a minute, I will post most recent log taken yesterday.
[doublepost=1492005414][/doublepost]here is a 4th gear pull from yesterday.
    [doublepost=1492005623][/doublepost]
COBB SRI and TIH. 20.5 psi by 4k, tapering to 16.5 at redline

You should add G/S to your logging. Using G/S with MAFv will get you a much better WOT cal.

using excel and msblackmica's method from his wot maf tutorial video. =/11.8 that gives me correction number to insert into corresponding maf volts in atr

Just for my own sanity, I loaded a stage 2 ots map, and only changed injector scalar and specific gravity to match my e85 content. It was commanding 11.6 afr. Drove 50 miles, first wot showed 12.3 afr from 3 to 4k so I lifted. Drove another 20 miles, wot again, same thing 12.3 from 3 to almost 5k before I lifted. I checked TIH for leaks and re-flashed my map. This is so strange. I will post a 4th gear log with all parameters being logged tomorrow. I just wish I knew the reasoning why it is acting the way it is...

Here is a DIZZY Tuned log showing lean from 3100-4600. Not very happy I was out with 12 afr right where max power is made. That is why I am self tuning. I thought I would just pay and have it done right. Apparently it all comes down to if you want it done right, do it yourself!

Did you talk to @Jason@DizzyTuning about it or did it seem like the better option to just jump to self-tuning and take a dig at his etune?

Yeah. Maybe talk to Jason about the issue before blasting the guy on the forum.

Without knowing what the target AFR from dizzy was, it's hard to say. But, the AFR's certainly aren't the worst I've seen, especially if the tune wasn't finished.

I have to agree with sharks, did you talk to the tuner about this or what?

Yep, decided to just do it myself. AFR should have been addressed early in tune, not while making power.

Again did you talk to Jason about your issue before blasting him in this thread? Yes or no.

As the airflow changes while turning boost up, it'll start hitting new areas of the MAF scale that may require tweaking.

Clearly you aren't having much luck in the way of tuning, I'd let someone who knows what they are doing tune it.
