I'm only concerned with the workouts for the middle one.

Getting there. Mocked up a little. Ended up having to do drivers side exit because of the large dump just going to be way too close the brake reservoir. Heatshield is going to be made for it. 52047273245__5524BBBE-453D-495C-8A8E-BF546E3B70C3.JPG IMG_0511.JPG

Are you sure about being that close the strut tower? How will you be able to get enough insulation in there to stop the paint from melting.

Well I think the angles make it look closer than it really is but it's still tight. I'm gonna need some lava wrap for sure there.

Keep in mind the downpipe is not in the final resting spot. It's just orientated like that until the ewg is attached and dump is fabricated. I'm sure it's going to be canted a few degrees away from the strut tower.

Plus i plan on purchasing a lot of heat shielding. I plan on wrapping the underside of my hood and strut tower with this:

    https://www.heatshieldproducts.com/automotive/heat-shield-and-thermal-barriers/lava-shield

Also, there will be a new heatshield made for the brake reservoir and it will also be wrapped in additional gold/lava wrap. Manifold is likely going to be coated with a thermal coating as well as I prefer that over the actual wraps. It's still a little ways away and heat should not be an issue.

I also thought about going water-to-air intercooler but deciding to keep that simple since the build is going pretty complex with blow-thru and the fact now the manifold is hanging off the side that presents a mechanical complexity too. Should be a short run of IC pipes to help with spool.

In addition, I'm going to be building another motor in the interim as the goal is 900-1000whp. Going all out on motor this go-around.

Gonna get an upgraded radiator and/or oil cooler? Also, is that an upgraded integrated BPV on the 9180 that's offered as an option? I'm used to the tan-colored "normal" ones.

Been waiting for a manifold from 16w. Decided I'll save that for later. Alls needed is a new cold pipe if I decide to continue down that path in the future.

For now. Nate at Newage Autoparts came in clutch and got me a CPE manifold on the quicks. I'll be dropping this off so the fabrication can now be complete.

Some pics of new parts and the vertical flow IM.

Fyi, you might want to weld that cpe closed. I think multiple people who have run it with any decent boost have either had to weld it shut or have gotten rid of it all together.

I'll have a backup with the 16w fab manifold. I really think if it leaks it'll be fixed with some RTV. Also, there's another guy running near 40psi and not having any issues. Give it a whirl. You know IDGAF about getting something to just see how it is ha.

Yeah, just a heads up. I think freek blew his apart in testing (may have been someone else). I say run the 16w. That thing is so sexy. Lol

well Justin's was a meth explosion from what I gather. Granted it would have held up better either 1) the plate didn't exist or 2) it was welded shut. I'll see how it goes either way. I kinda dig the look of the cast and the design, and cast from my experience doesn't get as hot. My JMF got crazy hot to the touch even after a short drive.

    Plus RTV all things!

    a few updates:

Scratched blow-thru. Just not enough straight sections of piping to get it done with 3in pipes.

Intake still needs to be made

still a lot of small things to do minus the fueling system before its able to be cranked. Most notably wiring, oil and water lines for the turbo, and battery/ecu relocation

I'll have the car back on Friday to start that phase of it. One major installation left to do is the fuel system, which I'll have the kozmic oem replacement tank and a separate fuel cell. Plan on having enough fuel for 2000hp if need be. I'll be running 4 pumps (2 bosch 300lph 044 inlines and the double pump holly 12-1800 750lph) with a total of about 1300-1400LPH of fueling. wee mane!
