Hey everyone, Im fairly new to the MZR disi community, purchased my 07 ms6 almost a year ago after wanting something more reliable than my rx7 and a month into owning it she went zzb on me and started playing knock knock jokes. So now she's getting built. Would love for any tips and feedback because Im a rotary guy I dont know much about this platform but im learning.

So far I've purchased a SP63 gasket kit, VVT/Timing kit, CP pistons (stock bore and compression), Eagle rods, New OEM crank, Clevite main and rod bearings, and ARP head and main studs. Ill post pictures of everything later. Plan on buying a Southbend stage 3 clutch next, but really need help deciding on what turbo/manifold to buy. I've been looking at DOC race's manifold but not sure if I want to stay stock flange, let me know what yall think!

More options if you go without the stock flange as far as turbo goes. You've come to the right place for good quality info.

I really don't want stock flange, but all the companies like boost junkyz dont make manifolds anymore, and I dont like how the cp-e looks, if anything Id want a t3 flange just for more turbo options. Ive been searching forever to find a manifold I like.
[doublepost=1496242819][/doublepost]Also, looking to make 400awhp without aux fueling, any insight on how to make this possible if it is possible would be greatly appreciated.

FJ Performance exhaust manifold is pretty attractive, if that's what you're going for. And I don't have the boost creep issues the Boost Junkyz manifold was (in)famous for.

I was looking at these manifolds but the guy at fj never emailed me back, Imma try messaging them on their website and see if I can get them to make me one.
[doublepost=1496363941][/doublepost]CP Pistons matched with Eagle Rods for my build. Going to try to get a FJ exh mani and I think Im going to get a Southbend stage 3 clutch. Ill update it as more parts come in, any and all feedback is welcomed

More goodies have arrived and more are on the way, Just got a used Precision 5862 off another speed6 guy, and ordered a go-autoworks manifold with a PTE V-band flange and aa 44mm v band ewg. I told myself I only wanted to make 350-400whp but I kinda said screw it everythings torn down already may as well go big! IMG_2105.JPG

Im over in Arlington, happy to see a local guy on here, Im a part of the JMOC club over here but I feel like all the mazdaspeed guys are hiding from me lol
[doublepost=1498794344][/doublepost]Update: Turbo was sent off to precision to rebuilt should be back in my hands next week (they have amazing customer service), and I think Im about to pull the trigger on the damond st mani with PI, if theres any other options similar to that price range let me know please! Not going to run PI initially so ill block off the injector holes but I want to make sure when im ready to do it it'll make things easier since the manifold will be ready for it.

I'm on Gate Parkway. There are only a few active members on here including Raider. They dont happen very often, but you should come out to the next get together and meet everyone.

Been a while since Ive updated lol. So my Goautoworks manifold finally came in, it is gorgeous and pretty sturdy, weighs just 10lbs and all the welds look great. Cant wait to see how it performs, its gonna look real nice hooked up to my freshly rebuilt PTE 5862. Also if the package comes in today I got another surprise I might share with yall 187ECDC8-66E0-4C1B-996A-AC96A0E2D275.jpg IMG_2342.JPG IMG_2343.JPG IMG_2344.JPG IMG_2345.JPG IMG_2346.JPG IMG_2349.JPG

So this happened... lol. Also looking for some insight as to what size injectors I should run on a PI setup with the current parts I plan on using. Plan on running a JMF v2 mani, but will be plugging the extra injector holes until I can afford to add them. I just want the car running at this point and Im almost done buying the rest of the parts for my build. Also what numbers should I be able to reliably see if I just run 93oct without PI?
