Let us know what happens. Also, just for giggles, did you check your manifold for any cracks? Kinda a long shot but you never know.

I did. I took the manifold out when I replaced the chra so I could really inspect it. No cracks or signs of leaks on it or the ATP turbine housing.

Little update. Swapped map sensor and did compression test. 180 across all cylinders and no change with map sensor.

Seriously?? Man this is a doozy that's forsure. Is there anyway possible you can swap with a known working wastegate? I know that's a huge long shot. Also, maybe post some pictures for us so we can maybe see it something pops out. Positive the EBCS is routed correctly?

Hmm well this is my thought process. Turbo builds boost by holding wg closed. Your turbo spools but is inconsistent. So the wg is doing its job as far as staying shut to get to the general area you are trying to reach with your tune. Next up is varying wgdc dosent change anything. I would think the air connection is faulty giving me inconsistent pressure applied to the wg therefore giving me inconsistent boost. The ultimate i wana test my wg out is to hook up the top port to the boost sorce but thats dangerous. When you put the compressor on the wg line to see if it opens did you spray soapy water to see if it has any leaks on the wg/fittings/line?

The next thing i would consider is you arent hitting load targets. Well the mass air sensor dictated how much air comes in and thus calculates load. So if something with that is fucked up it would affect boost if you are load based. Hmmm well what did you fuck with? The batt box... no that wouldn't cause this. The tip? Well that does have a maf on/near it and that could cause shit to get weird.how is your afr compared to known good logs.

Wait, so the WG duty cycle changes, but it doesn't have any affect on boost? Make sure the actuator isn't stuck.

I working on lining up a wastegate to swap on for a day. Maybe in a week or two I'll test that. As for the maf sensor, I have checked all the wiring etc and the sensor it's self. Haven't tried swapping one out yet though.

We have increased wgdc to 60 ish through that map and my boost might increase 2-3 Psi. It's ewg and I have tested it on and off the car to make sure it opens and closes with air.

One thought I've had is maybe the ECU isn't sending the signal to the ebcs to close the wastegate and I'm basically running spring pressure even though my spring pressure is 16 psi.

Afrs are spot on with logs prior to issue. I have tested the wg with the bottom port just open but never put boost to the top port. I assume that would ensure the wg stayed closed and it "should" overboost way above targets. I might try that but it won't be today. I don't feel like jacking my car up in the air to get to the wg lines

It's a hybrid tune. WOT AFRs were steady with no OL correction (on the troubleshooting map I sent and CL fuel trims have been tolerable.

UPDATE: Swapped another wastegate on and still only 13.5 psi and way off on load targets. In an attempt to check if my cat was clogged I pulled the AUX 02 plug in my cobb downpipe and went for a drive. Boost went to 14.5psi max. Not sure if that indicates a clogged cat or not.

Update: Finally got the catless dowpipe on and boom. I'm back in business. Clogged cat was the issue all along.

glad to see you got it figured out.
I think most of us assumed a catless downpipe in the first place.

I did the CHRA Exchange program through Garrett. Only cost me $725 for the new CHRA but I had to send them the old one.
