Hey all, as some of you know I picked up a little Fiesta ST to replace both my MS3 and Miata. I had a ton of cash wrapped up in the MS3 and it didn't get driven all that much and the Miata was pretty uncomfortable for a daily. So, why not spread out the MazdaSpeed go fast parts and recoop some cash, and pick up what seems to be one of the most fun and affordable car available now. Long story short, I got a 2016 Fiesta St in Kona Blue with ~16k miles, Recaro seats, black wheels/red calipers, sunroof, and navigation.

I plan on keeping it stock as possible, just have a few ideas to keep it interesting. End goal is to have a fun little car to daily and maybe autocross but keep it simple enough that I don't need to stare at my AccessPort any time I want to have fun.

So far - Cobb Stage 1 kit (I know, never say stage but it's literally a kit) which entails the AccessPort, high flow filter, and rear motor mount. Along with that I'm in the final revision of a Purple Drank tune. Ryan is tuning me up good and I have to say, I'm seriously impressed at the power this little 1.6L puts out on basically no mods. These really are a smaller yet improved version of our DISI motor and I love it. All the boost you could ever want at 3k rpm for fun passing power (although truthfully the top end certainly is disappointing coming from a 600whp MS3).

    On to photos...

Maybe come warmer weather, depending on my savings account, I'll pick up an upgraded FMIC to keep things cool, definitely a @Maisonvi shift knob, but beyond all that I really don't want to do anything else. It's silly to try and make a 1.6L "fast" in my opinion, especially if you're doing to have it as a daily driver. Some day down the line I'll get back into a project/race car but for now, I'm happy with reliability and a little bit of boost!

Oh I totally forgot to mention, the car came with a symposer delete. I like it because the interior of the car is dead quiet now, which is kinda nice coming from one car with a straight pipe exhaust, and another that where winds the state over would make a noise through the soft top.

I'm curious about that upgraded diverter valve... I assume it just seals quicker to get you back in the power sooner. I'll check it out! I'm definitely interested in things like that that'll improve drivability without sacrificing reliability.

Get the resonator deleted and keep the stock muffler. Check out some sound clips of it. I like it on my car personally as it added some sound but is not loud at all. Makes more of a growl now instead of being a quiet econobox.

Hahahhaha! I still thank you to this day for the bro hookup! Not sure I want to go that far with the car. Just trying to make it more fun. Then again, we know how that goes since you all are the devils!!

Ah and lets keep this thread alive with a snow photo! I gotta say, this car warms up oddly fast, like 2x faster than the MS3. That may be accredited to the open deck block? Not sure but I like it on these cold cold mornings. And the heated Recaros are dumb warm.

Oh and who here likes cats?

She licked a spot raw on her shoulder and this harness perfectly covers it.

Ah I remember when a fiesta left me left me in the dust. Even demonstrated a big ol Fire from the exhaust as he passed me and shifted.

Fiestas really are a party 24/7. I'm impressed at these little motors, people are far north of 100k fully bolted, big turbo, aux fuel and completely reliable. Not that I'm going for that, I'm just impressed.

It had a big turbo that’s forsure cause that wastegate sounded nice. At the time I was still on ko4 and meth but he left me pretty easily. I’ve never been so ashamed in my life.
