Sooooooooooo coolant lines... the metal hard line that the turbo return tees into failed. It has a nice hole rubbed in the side of it due to the turbo sitting against that metal tee. I didn't think it was sitting against it tight enough to be an issue but I was wrong. I will need to figure out what to do as that hard line is not really movable.

I am thinking of removing the hard line completely and replacing the it with brass tee fittings (2 of them, although one of the tees is for the throttle body coolant return which has been bypassed so I may just cap that off at the feed side) and silicone hose all the way to the oil filter housing.

Anyone replace that coolant return hard line before or have any thoughts on replacing it??

Thanks to @Maisonvi I now have ordered everything I will need to replace the hard line with a softline, relocate the turbo coolant return line and delete the throttle body coolant loop.

Hoping to get on the dyno this weekend for the E85 tune. On 91 I am sitting at 22 psi and very happy with the results. Alan is doing a fantastic job with the tune. Once I get the stuff delivered I will get some pictures posted of the finished project.

Been awhile since I updated this. Replaced all the hard coolant lines, replaced the Forge V2 with a GFB, and painted/installed the heat shield over the oem exhaust manifold so everyone can be spared from looking at it. I bought a Nissan Titan pretty recently and have spent most of mine time working on that (lift and exhaust) and another 302 build.

And now my valve cover looks crappy. Next action item is powdercoating the bbs evo 8 mr wheels and probably painting the valve cover.

@Wilner John Agpaoa as @djohns said I do not run port injection. I just use an E mix . @Speedhunter I never did powdercoat my wheels or paint the valve cover. I ended up putting it back on and bought a second one. The car has kind of been put on the back burner as I needed to buy a new DD and then like an idiot started modifying that. Plus I moved once in there. After winter I should be getting back on it.

The only changes since my last post are changing up the cold side a bit, getting a GFB Respons, and going to a single exit exhaust as even more of the Cobb cbe failed (weld at the dual exit split). I know I said I had no plans of running 100% VTA but that also changed.

I decided to got to a bellhousing style dp from the cs divorced dp. This was due to my tuner having seeing some strange behavior with the wastegate on the bnr s4. I'll have to get the tune adjusted now to see if that corrected the issue.

Also the 1 piece dp is 2" shorter than my cs 2 piece setup so I will have to get my cbe lengthened. This also means I'm one step closer to an ewg...
