Yeah it's going to take awhile to get it up since I still need to reassemble everything but I will eventually get around to it. Took a ton of pictures of everything to help me and for the guide.

Received my Damond intake manifold adapter and ST manifold the other day. Also just ordered my Adapted Performance single runner TIG. Can't wait to get this on the car! (Even though it's temporary)

I got a letter from them saying they are shooting for the end of December early January, but we will see. IMO You can’t really rush perfection.

Sorry didn’t see your post about the 16wfab IM, yeah hopefully by the end of January we’ll be taking delivery. I’ve been seeing more and more posts on his Instagram showing the progress.

Can’t wait for a galley boy or two at Swenson’s!

Well I figured it's about time for another update. The car is getting closer to being 'done'. 16wfab is finishing up the rails for the PI and then on to assembly so it's seems like I may get the IM before my car is done which is good news. Kind of wish I waited on the Damond IM now but oh well, my engine builder said I hate money and it's seems to be true...

I started to assemble the trans again and ran into a snag. I was pressing the clutch hub onto the gear stack and ended up pressing it on wrong. There are little teeth that were supposed to align with holes on another part that I didn't see so I had to press the clutch hub off. Well when I pressed it off I caught the gear stack in one hand and the hub fell off the press hitting the floor. With my luck it landed directly on a corner and chipped.

I had a FB friend Rodney (not sure if he's on here) come in clutch and send me one of his spares for 25 bucks. I'm also replacing the synchro for 2nd gear while I'm in there. You can see how much the brass has worn down. I'm hoping this fixes the grinding issue going from 1st to 2nd.

So next time I'm up in Cleveland I should be able to finish. Also I'm still planning on doing a write up, I have enjoyed learning about how the trans works even though it's been a pain.

Here's a pic of one of the secondary shafts completely apart. That's also what 200 dollars in snap rings looks like. I wasn't able to measure the snap rings before I went back so I ordered all of them haha
    [IMG]

On to more good news, my headstuds look super beefy
    [IMG]

Lastly, I think I have a new title for my build thread...800+ or Bust

It really wasn't too bad it was just very time consuming especially doing it for the first time. Eventually I'll get around to making a write up for it. I took probably a hundred pictures easily during the disassembly and reassembly. Also I'm about to work on someone else's trans, replacing their shift forks and 2nd gear synchro.
[doublepost=1522942381][/doublepost]I have a pretty big post in terms of pictures AND progress. Finally received my 16wfab manifold, it looks gorgeous! Also this past weekend I finished up my trans and put it back together. The engine was wrapped up as well, we bolted the exhaust mani to it with the turbo and intake. Also began to hash out my fuel system. I missed a couple of items when I was ordering everything so we couldn't install it. I ended up ordering the wrong Vband clamp, I ordered the tubrine inlet instead of the turbine discharge by mistake. So I have that on order, I also had to order another 4 bar map sensor since I somehow misplaced my old one after I took it off the JMF that I sold.

There was one small issue that were going to be to iron out. Anthony didn't have any Bosch 2200CC injectors in the shop and couldn't get the info from Bosch on how tall the injectors were so the standoffs that he made were slightly too big. Not a huge deal, we can cut them down to size.

Here's a picture of my head gasket, had to get a custom one from Cometic because they didn't have one for 1/2" headstuds. They ended up going through 4 MLS head gaskets before deciding to go with the MLX material because they couldn't get the bolt holes lined up.

Here's the engine done and we started putting some of the accessories on.

Here's @etipp98 helping me button up the trans

    Done!

Lastly here's a pic of the Radium fuel basket that I ordered. I'm very happy with how it looks but I have one small issue that I didn't really notice before ordering it. The Evo X has a tank pressure sensor so I need to find something that plugs that hole before I can throw it in the tank, should be an easy fix. Oh and do all the wiring...

Excellent work man. I will look forward to the transmission write up. I've done a th350 with some internal modifications and a 4L60e so this will be my 1st manual transmission that I'd like to tackle. Good luck!

The fuel basket is for evo x? Didn't know those can fit. Any concern in fuel starvation too?

The stock fuel baskets are virtually identical so I went with the idea of fitting this Radium double pumper in our car. The goal of the larger basket was to try and avoid fuel starvation issues so I hope I don't issues with that haha

Not quite drop in, you still have to route fuel lines and there’s wiring for the second pump but the actual basket and top hat will fit so that part is 'drop in'. I haven’t finished going through all of it, ran out of time last weekend. There’s also the hole on the top hat that I mentioned for the tank pressure sensor that I didn't see before ordering. It's not completely perfect for what I was looking for but I think I can make it work without a ton of modifying. It's still a viable option since no one makes a double pumper setup for our cars anymore.

Well I haven't made an update in a bit. So I went to Cleveland to work on my fuel system a few weeks ago. Got the basket dropped in and everything seemed to be fine with that. Did all the wiring for the gauges and ran that wire to the engine bay for oil pressure, oil temp and PI fuel pressure. Haven't started car so still waiting to see how it all actually works.

I have to drop the f'ing trans because I couldn't shift into 5th so that's great. I should of gone through the gears with it out of the car but you live and learn. I'll be going back in 3 weeks do drop it and hopefully fix it. I assume one of the ball bearings fell out. Just sucks my car is so far away...
