I have decided that I need a little more power out of my stock turbo Mazdaspeed 3. I am currently FREEKtuned on 93 so I figure the next step is a corn tune. Currently the nearest E85 near me is about a 40-45 minute drive. Since the gas station is so far from me I would like to buy and store some E85. Is anyone aware of issues with storing E85?

I am planning on purchasing these gas containers.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

From what I have heard, those containers are fine. I don't know if they have to be specifically rated for E85 (I assume not, but can never be too safe with fuel sotrage).

But I know as much to keep them sealed as best as you can. I don't think there are many SPECIFIC things to worry about.

A fuel tester kit couldn't hurt, if you plan to store for extended periods of time.

I will also be picking up a tester. I don;t plan on storing for more than 2 months at a time. I only drive the car 3 or 4 times a week so I only fill up maybe 2 times a month.
