It was rabid. Mo took it apart and tightened up. It's a lot better. Still leaks a little. [IMG]

    - STFTs went on to match your old LTFTs after you reset your trims as expected.
    - WOT AFRs still look like they're around 13.3

    1. Did you make any part changes after your last tune?
    2. What WOT AFR is targeted in your last tune?

Remember when I posted that I would laugh if we didn't change any sensors and it just turned out to be a loose coupler or bolt?

    I giggled today.

That BPV is designed like shit. The Mazda flange adapter has a metal ring that seals the bottom of the valve to it. It ends up causing a leak. I have an idea for sealing it, but we would need time to check the deck of the flange, and elegantly apply sealant to certain areas. Today was a short day so....

Today we fixed a bunch of leaks, exhaust and boost tubes. At least now we know his BPV is a weak point. His LTFT are back to normal. He may have been tuned on all these leaks, but we will fix the valve first before assuming...

OK, so the TS replacement is shipping today. Still usual stuff like before on the AP, and I am getting more of the hesitation during boost. I do have a brand new OEM MAF, and an NTK (in a Denso box) O2 sensor. Worth tossing in the MAF, or wait? I think wait, but I am tired so asking for a friend or something.

I guess toss on the bpv and the maf. Like 10 minutes to do those.

After MAF swap, I reflashed the last map from Rob. Did a 3rd gear WOT. The hesitation is gone, and will log more tomorrow, have 45 miles on it now. BPV arrives Friday, so will swap it when I can this weekend.

Still lean, but a lot better. 12.5ish afr at WOT. Maybe you got tuned on a huge leak, and now that it's fixed...

Yeah I think so. I'll install the bpv, and hopefully we can revise the tune to help.

Ok, so drive into my kid's school was smooth. Got home to a map from Hypnotic to get me by. I sent him the WOT log from last night. Will fine tune after BPV arrives and is installed. FWIW, no more P2187 once I swapped the purge valve solenoid.

I'm in Illinois right now for a wedding, I could give him a handy for you if I can track him down. I'm heading home Sunday morning though so it's a small window.

Bpv is in. It's so not the adjustable thing. It's a brake caliper tool to tighten thing like my Forge. Needle nose in the vise worked to swivel it, and top tightened with a wrench. Reflashed and will see how it goes tomorrow.
