Welp, forums are a dying platform unfortunately. Hate to say I've been one to get caught up in work and social media platforms. They need to make a comeback and would like to do my best to get back on even if it's to BS. Been through so many different set ups and forgot how long it's been and how fun it was to build a diary for everyone to see.

That being said, in all the years in the community and all the gone dark days have past it's due for a build thread finally!

    Car:
Black Mica 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 GT

    Powah:
    #Shedbuilt
    Manley 88mm platinum pistons
    OEM Main Bearings
    Clevite H rod bearings
    Manley H-Beam rods
    BSD
    CPE seals
    Shedfabbed oil baffle
    Stock port head and valvetrain
    Freeky Headstuds
    AT HPFP
    Ported OEM IM
    DM PCV Plate
    DM RMM, TMM, PMM
    DM EGRD
FJ Exhaust Manifold 44mm Tial EWG
    T4 Flange BNR S4
    FJ 3" Downpipe
    HKS Catback
    Under route charge piping
    Small battery tray and 51R
    3" Freektune Intake w/aem filter
Custom mounted dual vented 4 port catch can
    Re-laminated and re-insulated heat and firewall/exhaust tunnel.

    Suspension/Handling/braking:
    Upgraded RSB
    SPC Adj. Rear camber arms
    Koni Yellow Shocks
    Swift Springs with rear dragbags
    Stop tech slotted Rotors
    HAWK HPS+ Street pads
    Stoptech braided brake lines
    Upgraded HP PS pump lines
    Shirt throw shifter

Car is dyno tuned by Freektune sitting at
    337/332 on pump and
    375/357 on E25

    In the worx:
    DM PI Plate
    Injectors (need to get)
Radium Surge Tank (need to get)
Hoses and fittings (need to get)
    SS 4 injector controller
    KMAC IM
Upgraded 75mm Mustang GT TB (need to get)

Plans it to run PI off of the HPFP feed. Stock ITFP supplying a dual port Radium surge tank with AEM 50-1000 pump to supply PI rail. Simple and effective setup. I've always been content with the slow ass conservative power. Plans are just 450ish to be at a happy median.

Ran the car on the drag strip for the first time ever this year. 13.2 @ 111mph. Wheel tire setup was street tires and heavy reps. That will get you almost 3 second 60fts lmao.

Will update with photos when I figure out how to do this forum thing again.

Why read a forum when you can just ask Facebook what the best oil a freektuned car running a remanned ebay k04 should run in a cold climate?

JK tho good work on the 111mph trap speed. Get that PI running, a real tire, and see what she can do! Glad to see another build thread start.

I picked up some slicks and skins for cheap from Justin. Gotta shave the calipers down and grab some spacers. Should be ready for next season.

Need to work on LC and FFS as I've honestly never used either lmao.

With FFS the best advice would be to consciously take your time with the shift. You don't need to slam it F&F style (because that'll make you more likely to miss shift). You'll get faster as you practice and since the car is tuned to not rev to the moon when you FFS you don't need to worry about rushing.

How big of spacers you need? I have a set of 5mm hubcentric ones laying around brand new.

Tail of the dragon trip and a little bit of fire damage drama and fire reclamation. Doubles as a sound deadener and nice heat shield. Pre dyno/break in at Freektune Shop. Sent it with 50miles on the mil. Full boost.

    Helluva sammy.

I like what you did with the exhaust tunnel...I fucking hate that garbage foil insulation bullshit that the juans came with from the factory.

The EWG tube was rubbing on the HP PS line at the subframe. It had rub/burnt through the line and started spraying the firewall and soaking it with PS fluid. PS fluid is HIGHLY flammable. Once the EWG opened after the leak started to spray the PS line became a flame thrower and the whole firewall went up. That's what prompted an upgraded HP PS line I fabbed up and also covered the line in a heat/fire sheet.

Small update. Was hoping Radium would have a BF sale to pick up the unit with built in regulator.

They did not nor have they since 2015 so I've decided to change things up.

    Old plan was
Stock feed>QD fitting at HPFP>tapped over to Surge tank> surge tank to regulator.

    New plans.
Plans to use the stock LP supply line.
    Upgrade ITFP (still searching)
Quick disconnect to Male -6an fitting on the stock hard line.
Attached to the QD fitting will be a mountable 3 port fuel dist. block with a -6an inlet port.
Dist. Block will be mounted to the FW. From the Dist block two 45° female -6 hose fittings.
One line to the HPFP with a 90° female hose fitting attached to another QD fitting.
Other line will be run to the fuel regulator mounted on the rail.

Still waiting for tommorow to see if anymore sales drop for cyber Monday.

Also will take any insite or recommendations on ITFPs.

Not sure if he will give away their secret sauce but @Farhan@DM may be able to help with ITFP recommendations.

This build makes me happy after another member's build going up in smoke.

I've actually been doing a bit of research. I'm going to get it in the sake of knowledge anyways but it appears the AEM 50-1215 pump are all the same dimensions +/- a few MM from stock. I'm gonna grab one this week.

I've also been made aware that the "Aeromotive 325" is a direct replacement as well.

    Things are happening.

All fittings are in. Fuel dist. Block and QD fitting fit together as I had planned.

AEM ITFP. Ordered at 7am on Prime and Was on my doorstep my 1230pm. Lol

This setup could be made much simpler by just quick tapping the feed at the HPFP and running it to the rail. But that's not fancy enough for me.

Injectors are still inbound. I ended up finding a set of 4 bosch 625cc injectors on ebay for 140$

New 72mm mustang 3.7 TB inbound as well. Should match up to the KMAC IM flange. Now it's just a matter of matching the inputs and outputs at the plug for proper operations. May babe to extend the TB harness.

@Atvfreek has a new FPR laying around I'm going to pick up from him and that completes everything.

At some point in the next few weeks I'll be pulling the coil harness to make my own tuck and addition of the SS controller. Talked to Bryan at BNR and I'm going to send the turbo in for a refresh and maybe updated compressor housing.

Started to bring this Kmac manifold down to bare metal as well. Thing has 1/2" thick bondo in some spots lmao 20181128_155143.jpg 20181128_164743.jpg 20181108_084014.jpg 20181128_154640.jpg 20181128_155114.jpg

So you will not be tapping the HPFP feed? What are you going to use instead?
