    Smidge of an uodate.

Had the S4 sold. Buyer backed out.

Been slacking on getting the pump back together and back into the car. It's been cold AF.

Bryan at BNR is in the process of building me a T3 "S6" to be my future churbo.

Need to drill the fuel bucket cap for the bulkhead fitting and plan on running the return line out of the bucket and into the tank to a few inches from the bottom. To keep from aerating the fuel.

Also plan on cleaning up the custom turbo SS coolant lines. From the EGR is all good. I was using a -6 female to 3/8 barbed fitting with 3/8 hose between it and the hard coolant line. Plan it to convert that hard line to a permanent AN fitting either by cutting and flaring it or welding a fitting on.

Waiting on this coil harness from @KiwiFlavor so that I can get a peg board going and start doing my SS adapting wire tucking shenanigans going.

You could run your fuel feed line from the firewall to the PI rail instead of the HPFP. Then run the PI return into the HPFP feed. No need for running lines back to the tank to return.

Not every fuel pump can be run returnless though...

Nah I'm good. I already bought the product. The setup works. I'd rather not feed the HPFP post PI regulator on the rail. Just because something might not be "necessary" to you might be necessary to me.

    On another note.
Starting peicing everything together. Got the PI Plate and fittings/regulator mocked up on the IM. The TB location sits high so the regulator was moved post/return of the rail.

Even though I make HP hyd hoses and steam hoses every day for work I ran a trial run on one of the fittings and hose from hotrodfuelhose.com. this stuff is top notch quality! I highly recommend them. Small business with great support. (Use or invest in AN fitting wrenches) my regular adjustable marred the fitting good.

Also started to run wires and pigtail for the SS controller. Split/Spread/intertwind/soldered all triggers. Split the magic ground. And will find a good 12V source in this harness to run the power cord. Just bump the fuse in that circuit up. All will be at a P&p piHPFP. (Deutsch plugs) that will sit with the two main coil harness plugs at the hpfp. Vise versa on the SSC end. Want to use the least amount of crimp "terminals" as possible. So far haven't used any other than the magic ground with a ring terminal. MAF signal wire I'll fish out of the SS sheathing and run with that main harness to the SSC. I used a universal ratchet crimper for terminals and wiring at work which worked good enough but bought a terminals crimper set. With specific crimpers. Absolute incredible investment!

Also still battling this TB fiasco. Found out a 4.6 mustang TB was used. Converted to drive by wire but was never full proof and the TPS signals never worked. So as of now, I have the Chrysler TB sitting here. I may just fill these mounting holes with weld. Then drill and tap my own for the Chrysler TB.

Where did you get the wire crimp kit from? I was looking at the universal kits before.

Snap on Truck. I think it was 150$ for the kit. I think it is made by "S&G tool Aid" or something

Got the harness finished up. Found the VTCS vaccum block thing has 12v switched power to it. Used that to complete my pigtail plug. The manuals weren't mutch help, so I threw the battery in and took my test light to the plugs. Got the fuel lines measured out yesterday as well. About to cut them and start getting the fittings on.

Need to order a AN6 to 45° barbed fitting for the return in the fuel basket. Ordered a strait fitting but it drops down to for ontop of the pump housing inside the basket.

For the IM I'm just going to have the holes filled and retap the flange for the Chrysler TB. (If I haven't already said that)

Measured out how I'm going to run the wires on the SSC. Nothing needs to be chopped down. Going to mount it on the fuse box and move the ECU back to the small battery tray. Going to tum the SS harness along that main ECU harnes and up under the intake. Just need to put a plug end on the harness.

Lines from the firewall to the HPFP and Fuel rail fabbed up.

Had to order a few more fittings need one more 90 so I ordered a couple fittings to play with if need be. Ordered yesterday from hotrodfuelhose.com and will be here Tuesday free shipping.

Going to wait on cutting and putting anything on the return line. There might be an extra 12-14" on the end of excess to cut off.

Also ordered some compression fittings that @Maisonvi suggested for the hard lines in case the QD fittings dome work. Well see.

Getting the holes in the IM filled next week. The actuator housing on the TB sits on the flange and the TB wont sit flush so I may have them make a spacer as well seeing as I cant find one online for that TB. 20190208_095649.jpg

Hopefully they work just fine. But for sure check the connections after you put them in. I had 2 different brands have issues with the internal O-rings not sealing. One was a very obvious leak. The second I put some petroleum jelly per the manufacturers suggestion to help avoid rolling, and they still leaked (although much more slightly) After I switched to the compression ones, I never had an issue. Even after taking them off and putting them back on (which you technically shouldn't
do) but I never had an issue.

    Update
    Got compression fittings in.
    New primary 02 in.
All the fuel lines made and mocked.
45° 3" 6061 elbow should be here tommorow
Waiting for the -6 female to 45° 3/8 barb fitting so I can get the in take return in and the basket back into the tank.

Finally got all that bondo and paint off the IM. Oi vay there was so much. It was thick AF in some spots and was covering up some boogerness. Started with grinding pads then did some Google searching on removing bondo. Lead me to the procedure of torching the bondo and it bubbles right up to scrape off. Almost positive I have some form of cancer now after that. Started to clean and take down the old welds so that my uncle can take over. Port matching was also a little off. (Not enough). Fixed that up at well.

I have a few -6 fittings from hotrodfuelhose.com laying around. Three Straits, one 90, one 45 and one 180 if anyone ever needs nylon SS braided -6 hose fittings they may need.

    Thread update.

    T3 S5 purchased
    IM is out for welding
    New slicks purchased
Still looking for a gasket to fit that Chrysler TB that doesn't come with a spacer. Seems they are only sold with soacers.

Went to install the basket and pump into the tank. Was a fail. I had the drain mounted above the pump itself so it could compress into the tank. I had to relocate the drain futhrrfback on the top hat so the drain lined up with the inside of the basket and can compress the basket down. Plugged the old hole with a -6-lug and Cap. 20190219_172657.jpg 20190219_174938.jpg 20190219_174945.jpg Screenshot_20190221-112626_PayPal.jpg View attachment 9975 20190216_090138.jpg 20190216_090159.jpg 20190216_090150.jpg
