This site is finally unblocked at work. 90K mile oil change tire rotation a few weekends ago. Car is still running relatively well. My plan was to trade in this car at 100K miles, but with the way it is running, I might just keep it longer. I am also not in a hurry to get new car payments.

Time and miles have a funny way of making things wear out or even fail.

I hate those rodents. They ate a bunch of wires in my F-350 pickup back in the day, cost me $1600, body shop (where the truck was getting some body work done when some genius backed into one of my duality fenders. At least the Power Stroke drove well for another couple of years!

Rather - "What did someone else do to your car?"

Let's make a left turn from the far right lane! Unfortunately I hit the stop recording button on accident instead of the "Protect Recording" button there at the end.

    No injuries.

Timestamp is wrong, date stamp is correct. Called 911 immediately and was told "No one is hurt, exchange information - they are too busy to come out."

Didn't think the damage was too bad - good thing my car was still dusty as it shows where impact occurred with the dust moved off.

Until I filled up with gas last night and came out to go to work this morning

Wrong insurance was given to me but "assured" her car was under the policy #, yes I called it bullshit to her face but wasn't much I could really do at that point (She showed me a card for a 2013 Ford Edge SEL not a Kia Rio) and now to find out NO insurance for the vehicle (via VIN lookup from insurance company). I do have the license plate and VIN of her Kia as well as 2 names, a home address and phone number from the policy document I was shown. My insurance already stated she is at fault and waiting for confirmation from the agent assigned to my case from the policy number I called in that the vehicle is not covered.

The reason she had to make that turn? Ya see that dude who walks up to her car at the end of the first video? He wasn't bringing her breath mints or tampons...you put 2 and 2 together and get 5 on your own. Headed on down to Dallas PD in a bit to go ahead and pass this all on.

If you don't have a dash cam - get one.

    I PASSED INSPECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had to rig up a egr to a st mani. I had a evap leak i couldn't find p0456 p0442. I gave up and just made a fake evap system with the CV and tank pressure sensor. Ran a hose from the purge valve thru the glove box into the trunk where it connects to the empty hose barb. Stuck a 1/4 air hose chuck in the CV to simulate the resistance from the charcoal canister.

Thanks! If you ever had to work by the charcoal canister before you would know my pain. Looking for leaks made me want to punch babys and spit on the elderly.

I only had 1 minor issue and that was when the wires i extended fell on my muffler then burnt and shorted out blowing the injector fuse stranding me on the side of a off ramp... so far with this car i get my AAA memberships paid off every year with towes to my house. Im just glad i break down within 3 miles of my house every time.

Found my elusive boost leak . It looks like a newb tried to clock a turbo at one point and pinched the oring....
The replacement oring was 6 bux from pte. had a hunch due to the huge bubbles from the boost leak test that i should have a spare so i had the replacement ready to go
    [IMG]

Then i figured out why my drain line was leaking. The bolt was hitting the fitting not letting the oring in the adapter sit flush. This is what happens when you drink beer and install. This was a im sure it will be fine moment when i was doing the origional install.
Removing the mani was a requirement since this fat pig of a turbo wouldn't fit around it. Thank mother fuckin baby jesus that i used anti seize on the manifold nuts!
Removing that shit was a cake walk compared to fucking with the evap....

245/45r/17 nitto 555r up front (second season) and 225/40zr/18s conti extreme contact sports (brandy new) in the back on stock suspension with bags in the rear springs. I just need a second set of contis and rims to put on the front when it rains for a bit.

    Motegi tracklight.
    Fronts are 17x8 40 offset
    Rears are 18x8 45 offset

Plenty of room with stock suspention up front. I could of gone with 17x9 upfront if i wanted to but i didnt want to fuck around with spacers. It pokes a but but im not lowered and i havent hit any major bumps to find out if they rub.

Today, I solved the mystery of the missing socket and might have fixed the mystery noise coming from the rear end. Went to remove my bumper cover for some fresh paint and found my socket rusted to one of the nuts for my RallyArmor flaps. It’s been there about three years. I hope the phantom clunk is gone when I get it all back together.

Today I installed an aftermarket radio. I'm getting a backup camera for it in a few days, but I couldn't wait to get Bluetooth in there.[IMG]

@anthony Lol. I think the noise back there was the wrench screaming to get out. I was so pissed when I did a full suspension replacement front and rear with new end links, sway bar, every bolt, etc. and still had the occasional clunk on bumps. The suspension felt right, but the noise was baffling. I’m going to clean it up, rebuild it, and put it back in the toolbox until I lose it again.

That is impressive it stayed on for 3 years.. I left a line wrench on when I bleed my clutch and it made it 100 miles before I noticed it still there

well after pulling that mani to fix the turbo seal it fucked up the valve cover pretty bad and that time i forgot a socket between the coils for a month while it bounced and chipped the shit outa my painted valve cover i decided to go the powdercoated route.
Ther is a lot of flake the picture dosent do it justice lol. This and the wheels are the only thing i spent money on other then under the hood.(except a sway bar i guess). now i just need to find my valve cover breather filter....

It's finally nice enough to drive the car.

Pulled the battery box and intake out to finally find the battery lid screw off the Corksport box that's been in there for 3 weeks or so.
Changed my very sadly neglected oil
Broke an ear off the undertray (plastic welder justified)
Finally cleaned the barrels of the wheels that haven't been touched in 4 years.
Installed a Recaro seat (daughters booster sadly)
Heading out over lunch to wash 5 months worth of shop dust off (I have a cover, not sure why I don't use it) and grab some #0000 steel wool to clean my grody exhaust tips.

I also need a fogger for the 13b laying on the floor of my garage and Ospho to rub on all the Corksport suspension parts since they're just raw steel and showing it.

I also found the mystery rear end clunk after 7 years of owning the car. Apparently there was a set of nunchucks under the jack from the previous owner. Better than finding his buttplug I guess.

Can you please explain what is going on next to the intake manifold? I've never seen this before.

Are you taking about the filter? If I had to guess it's a breather for the catch can.
