I've already done radiator ducting and coilovers for the speed 3. I'll be working on Koyo upgrade update to the ducting thread and brake ducting how-to for the MSM.

If you do a search on the web, there is a post in a forum that discusses this subject. However, I strictly advise you or anyone else never defeat or tamper with a factory installed safety restraint system in any vehicle. I hear you can do the same with O2 sensors but you would have to search for that too. You have been warned, you are on your own with this one.
Google "How to get rid of airbag light with aftermarket seats"

I was imprecise in my example of dealing with the light that comes when you place a new seat in a Gen 2 MS3 (or any Mazda 3, for that matter) there are multiple systems involved. In my long career in safety, I would not nor would I advocate disabling safety system in our cars. I spent my entire first career in prehospital emergency medicine and have seen the results of things I will never share with anyone in my life.

So, the imprecision of my language was rightly called out by AboveAverageJoe, and I ask him and you all for forgiveness as I have acknowledged and attempted to rectify my imprecision. Since my post has been quoted, deleting it will not eliminate it...nothing on the internet ever goes away, nonetheless I will attempt to delete my post as a primary source.

Please don't take my post as angry or holier than thou. I'm just covering my a$$ when giving advice that may cross a legal line. Like saying you can punch out a catalytic converter for off road use only. I'd hate to tell someone sure do this or that and they are injured or worse.
Sorry, edited because I can't talk and type at the same time.

No offense taken. I know that we gotta keep it “stupid proof”, like those pharmaceutical ads on TV for, oh I am making this up, Gonnafixya. Then they say “Don’t take this if you are allergic to Gonnafixya......like, really? Blessings!

My FIL had an Acura back in the late 80's that would allow you to shut off the airbags.
I love those commercials, the side effects sound worse than the disease they treat.

I think we can all agree that raging volcanic hulk diarrhea is less worse than having a headache the pill is supposed to calm.

"Do not take if allergic to Gonnafixya" ... well no shit Sherlock. And since it's new, just how are you supposed to know that piece of information?

More and more humor is available on ambulance-chasing lawyer ads. "IVC mesh may cause complications, up to and including death". Well, the clots the thing filters out may cause strokes... or death. Perhaps these lawyers, or people, don't realize how probabilities work but they put that in you to reduce your likelihood of, you guessed it, death. Not that it isn't tough to take when you wind up on the bad end of the distribution, but the law does require you to have given informed consent...

I could do a write-up of wiring & routing a front & rear (2-channel) dash cam setup in a genjuan, would likely be pretty similar to a pu. Had to get pretty involved to snake the wire from the front through the A-pillars around the side airbags and stuff. Ended up looking pretty clean.

I'm also gearing up to do a full suspension replacement including endlinks and sway bar bushings, I guess I could take a bunch of pics while I do it if that write-up needs doing.
