Good to hear this thing is about to make some more power. How much play is in the 5862?

Was that attachment from under route to the oil pan original? Its typical to see a doubler / tripler in spots like that for stress.

No, no pre-made under route comes with that, but all of them will rub against the passenger axle or intermediate shaft if thats not there. So @The_Weis_Guy made one for me and welded it on

LOL this hurts my soul. The only redeemable quality is that you can drink it and do physical work at the same time due to it being mostly water.

Not that it matters now, but I think the whole smoking issue witb the 5862 was caused by a faulty drain line that was blown "in" and not letting the turbo drain properly under certain conditions. There was barely any oil on the exhaust side of the turbo compared to my blown seal 5858..heres a shitty pic of inside the drain line

Here's the exhaust side of my blown seal 5858

Well, it's not perfect.. But it's the best it's ever gonna be under my ownership
Pics don't do the color justice, but it's cool how it changes based on the light.

Now just need some new ET streets so I can get out and start logging and tuning for the new turbo!

Looks alot better under the hood, under route helps alot. Color is pretty sweet as well. How many miles you get on your last et street?

Dont forget to hook up valve cover breather hose

They have 8k on em and still have plenty of tread on em. Issue is, i let the passenger front go flat over the Winter and when I pumped it back up, I noticed a crack in the sidewall. So not taking any risks

I'll get a pic later of what tread is left
[doublepost=1556755784][/doublepost]You can kinda see the tires here.
I'd trust driving em in a light rain lol

Valve cover breather hose is connected. It's running to a VTA can by the intake

How much is a set of those. For that much traction and getting 10k miles on them it sounds like a good option

40% wgdc from 3500rpm to Rev limit. Shot from the hip on the ssc map. Not bad, aside from a coupler on the cold side deciding it wanted to emancipate itself from the pipe it was attached to at 5300rpm

Will do a boost leak test on my day off on Wednesday and then give her a lil more juice myself before I turn it over to Mark to finish up the tune and get it perfect for me

Will you be pushing your current returnless fuel system with the 6266 or stay at similar power?

Sho don't you know that a returnless setup is horribly inefficient and is for poor people only?JEEZ.
