    Wanted to start a thread for anyone intrested in the results. Will be building the engine this weekend or next. 88mm Manley pistons and rods. Mods will be DM ST Intake manifold, BNR s5 Tial 44mm wastegate dumping out the fender on a custom exhaust manifold etc. Tuned by Nishan shooting for 500whp with meth injection.

    Engine is built
    Piston ring end gaps
    Top rings : 0.022
    Bottom rings : 0.024
    Fabbed up the cold pipe for ST manifold with 2 meth bungs.
    Inline oil feed line filter for the turbo.
    Clutch kit is ACT ZX5 HDG6

    AC delete and Alternator relocation
    Alternator is a 08 Mazda 5 and belt is 800k6 for anyone that would like to know.

    hello there..need help on my tial mv-r 44mm what spring rates is the best for bnr s5?.

    It's really whatever you want for base pressure likely 14lb would be good for that turbo to get a baseline 93 tune.

    the spring should be green,blue, black?.

    Depends on what year your wg is from it appears, but green + blue + black looks correct if your gate is made after 1/16/2012

    If it came with some springs just bench test it and look at tials chart.

    Are you worried about vibration of the blue fitting/filter on the oil return? Looks a little long.

    I'm on my 4th revision with Nishan 26psi 12° of timing 2x1000cc of meth still got alot left in it. I'm building a head just gotta figure out the springs id like to use.

    If anyone has info on which valve spring works with stock Valvetrain let me know. I've heard of the Crower 65lbs springs with gm retainers. Not sure if it actually works.

    Iirc the kelford springs let you use the stock retainers as well
