Popped on the DSX flex fuel kit this morning. The fitting Dave has made is really nice, but I hope that sensor never fails because there is no way I'm getting a fuel line disconnect tool in between his fitting and the sensor.

Time for tires? More like time for tires and wheels. I picked up some new 19" Ace Alloy AFF11s in "space grey". My buddy that ceramic coated the car, put down two heavy layers of industrial ceramic on all of the wheels. Wheels will be wrapped in Michelin Pilot 4s. My original plan was to stuff 305s in the rear, but a bunch of guys that have more experience than me said they have zero issues hooking up at the track with 285 with a proper alignment, so I went with 285x35s in the back and 255x40s in the front.

Nice wheels, but be prepared for the bowtie crowd disapproval.

WTF updates. Reverted the intake back to the Rotofab CAI b/c I never finished getting it tuned for the VCM b/c I'm lazy and a bad customer.

    New things:
    - Robofab CAI
    - New stock plugs
    - SuperPro motor mounts
    - SuperPro front strut bushings
    - JRE Trans dipstick
    - Fresh trans fluid flush
    - Fresh diff fluid flush
    - Tune freshened up. For some reason I needed 30% more fuel

With the new mounts I get a little bit of knock upon pulling from a dead stop, but nothing during WOT so that might be attributed to some harmonics that I can feel around 1500rpms. Shifts are nice and the LS cam lopey feel is gone at idle. Ajay freshened up my tune and the folks at Brubaker Performance gave the car a good once over to verify nothing is banging around before going onto the dyno for a final revision of the tune and some pre-supercharger numbers.

    Supercharger items being ordered:
    - LSA kit from boostdistrict.com w/ upgraded big heat exchanger
    - DSX aux fuel system
    - FIC 1200cc injectors
    - Boostdistrict whale peen intake.

Wife did a little stint in the hospital for an infected kidney stone, so funds had to take care of that bill for a minute. Bonus money came in, so instead of doing responsible adult shit like paying down home principle, let's blow it on car parts.

    I actually ordered shit.

    - GPI SS1 PD blower spec cam w/ valvetrain goodies
    - CHE trunnion kit
    - fuel injector clinic 1000cc injectors
    - DSX aux fuel kit
    - ZL1 torque converter

Next up on the ordering block for Friday:
    - R&D Fabrications LSA supercharger kit
    - R&D Fabrications upgraded heat exchanger
    - 2.75" pulley
    - Cordes Performance Racing 4.5" intake w/ LS7 MAF.

That should be everything for parts. Gotta get on Brubaker Performance's schedule to get everything installed and then over to my tuner so it can all blow up on his dyno.

If you ever need OE GM parts cheap just hit me up. I pay 10% above cost. That includes factory engines, transmissions, superchargers etc.

It's so nice to see..... engine bay parts with few heat cycles, connectors that still look virginal. Currently working on 06 speed 6 that spent it entirely in CA Los Angeles....baked bay is not a treat....
Sounds like a great investment enjoyability, since housing prices are...................... Level or -----___.....

    Nice!

Long overdue, so I know you're stoked.

Who is going to tune it?
