I cut the back of the grill out 2 rows.
The crash bar was cut in half. Reused stock washer tank, just moved to other side.

thank you!its been a long and annoying process. stressed out. still gonna have a ton of work ahead of me. once the cars home im going to get a list of to-do things together, then get to detailing the interior and making it presentable to my liking.

FYI: I even paid to have the headlights cleared up. It lasted 3 months and yellowing and haze again.

I'm excited for ya. FWIW I just got done doing my lights. Its all about the time you put into them. my car was in a small wreck before I bought it and so i have one old headlight and one brand new. The 1st time I sanded the old one I didn't take as much off as I should have and it went back the way it was. this past time I took alot more time and finished off with some very mild rubbing compound before i sealed them and it seems like it stuck. Currently you cant tell the difference between the 2... but ill let you know in a few months lol.

You do it multiple times lol. Thats the best answer I have, and its what i will likely continue to do with mine even if the one fogs up again this time. But yeah new lights are always another option.

[doublepost=1456415084][/doublepost]so theres good news and bad news. went to get the paperwork finalized. have to take the car to a specialized inspection (30 minutes away) to thave them do a thorough inspection to make sure its "road-worthy" then it can take up to 6 weeks to get a plate issued.... thats the bad. now the good... i cleaned the car out of all the shit junk (still needs detailed and vacuumed)also found out that the car still has the stock DP on it (but he put a magnaflow exhaust on?? wtf)so once i get the paperwork finished and the car is leagl...ill be ordering a DP. at that point ill toss on the DP and the fmic. then retune with Freek. should see a nice drop in IAT and hopefully pick up a few whp from the aftermarket DP and freek tune.
[doublepost=1456429623][/doublepost]lil more info, after some discussions, im pretty sure the TIP and DP are stock. so those will be first on the parts list. Cobb TIP, white widow DP, and install FMIC, retune... should see some powahh. want to get the spoiler recleared first and take care of the headlights.

[doublepost=1456492898][/doublepost]more updates!! upon further investigation. the car does in fact have an aftermarket downpipe (cant find receipt so no idea the brand) and a Cobb TIP. last evening the interior was vacuumed out and seats cleaned , trunk was also cleaned out and vacuumed. Tint was pulled and windows wet sanded with 0000 steel wool. tomorrow morning ill be pulling all 4 wheels and checking brakes and rotors. and possibly buffing the headlights. figured since its gonna be a couple weeks before its street legal, i can just focus this time on fixing shit so its less i have to do later.
[doublepost=1456502583][/doublepost]more info. and a warning... for anyone that may be following or reading up, this is a very active and consuming build thread. so please please that if you see multiple posts daily on this. oh and the ever changin lists. so tomorrows agenda is the brakes first, then once thats done (and if time alots) ill buff the headlights. up next after that is the rust spot on the hood, then the crack in the rear bumper (which will have to come off so i can properly fix it) so the list as of now is 1)inspect/replace brakes 2)buff headlights 3) fix rust spot on hood 4) repair back bumper crack (and exhaust shrouds) 5) inspect/replace rear bumper smartkey sensor. 6) sand and reclear the spoiler. yes its alot but im excited to do it and plus i know once all this is done ill have a fairly clean and nice looking ms6.

well what a lovely and active weekend. pulled the hideous exhaust shrouds off to scrub them and clean them up a bit. in the process of doing so i realized that 1) the shrouds are completely shot to shit, broken clips everywhere from some idiot ripping them off and 2) my magnaflow exhaust has stainless tips! (who knew) also got the brakes and rotors checked, they are good to go. topped off the coolant and brake fluid. and replaced the battery in the remote. went to drop the car off for this dumbass "enhanced inspectino" because its an r title. CEL came on about 15 minutes into the trip. take it back home. grab the aP and scan it.. P1037.... 02 sensor...fuckkkkkso i clear it, go buy a new part and considering id need to retune it to tune out the CEL (and i dont have the time to wait that long) i decided to attempt driving it back to the shop and see if it came on. made it to the shop without an issue. i ran the AP on gauges the whole trip. maxed out at 15.25 psi (although didnt get complete WOT) and noticed my AF ratio spikes to 29 when i lift-off throttle after an acceleration. so that brings me to now. pending the outcome of this inspection, if it passes. i will go tomorrow to pay for all the plates and shit. then while i wait for the plates and everything to come in(because i have to order a new plate, cant xfer) ill get the FMIC mounted and retuned.

one thing i did notice is that the cars producing a noticeable amount of black smoke during hard accelerations. enough to coat the stainless tips after a single gear hard pull. . . its def an overfueling issue but im hoping that maybe its just a shitty tune from the previous shop. the freektune should hopefully address this.
the bigg question is go BNRs3 now and get the free tune or not....

Sounds like the cars in good hands, and looks great, all ms have 29 afr when off the throttle, what's you're afr at wot you could be running rich the lower the number the more rich you're running.

You can do anything you like with enough money. lol.
    a few comments tho...
    1) getting that o2 sensor fixed aint cheep. (at least it wasnt for me.)
    2) Get your freektune immediately when you go to a FMIC.
    3) even with your current mods its not just a matter of slapping on a BNR S3. You need an EBCS, and a 3Bar MAP sensor at least to tune it properly. And thats bare minimum. Im not going BT until I have some sort of overboost protection (Guardian Angel or AEM wideband failsafe) and a way to monitor oil pressure which means some sort of gauge set up (and until im spraying meth but thats just me).

i believe in the 10s at damn near WOT. but honestly im still getting adjusted to the power so i couldnt exactly stare at my AP while givin er hell.
    [doublepost=1456872047][/doublepost]
i think thats whats turning me off of doing the upgrade now honestly. i mean freektune has the turbo+tune deal right now, which would be nice. i could get by without the 3bar for now so long as we didnt tune it past 22psi. at this point im still waiting to hear back from the shop though. fact is ill have to get it tuned while waiting for my plate to come in, because the CEL its throwing is from the aftermarket DP. so unless i do some sort of tricking, (de fouler, diode etc) the only way to get rid of that is tune it out. i thought that maybe since i have the FMIC sitting here doing nothing that i could order the bnrs3, and ebc. when it came in install the new turbo, ebc and fmic. then start tuning for pump gas. downt he road at some point get the 3bar and guardian and do touch up tune for e85.

eventually im gonna have the entire hood redone. but thats not of importance right this moment
may just sand it down and get some primer and body touch up paint on it to save the hood
[doublepost=1456872787][/doublepost]lets talk about that avatar though for a minute haha
