Came across this thread and figured I would add that I used this kit on my motor build and have had zero issues with them. Im over 20k miles on my built motor. Also, I sent the injectors in with the new oring kits and they installed them instead of me having to at no charge. Might save some people the headache as well im sure.

I thought i fixed my issue, but the car is still misfiring on cold starts, starting to drive me nuts. To make matters worse, now when the car is driven before it reaches operating temps, it seems like its choking big time. For example, I'll be in 3rd gear, light throttle, and the car seems like someones cutting the power for a split second over and over. Pretty annoyed at this point with this thing.

My car runs pretty rough on cold starts if I try and hoon at all. I am sure it is tune related and the JMF with no vtcs. As soon as it gets over 130 temp it is nice to drive again. I have not tried to mess with it as I should not really be beating on it until it is warm. I did notice when I unplugged my maf "accidently" it ran really nice on cold starts. Mine will chug and seems to have no idea what it is doing when it is cold cold if I try and get into the throttle very hard.

That's a good point do you have the intake manifold flappers removed? That can cause issues on startup supposedly pressing the gas a little to get the ECU to skip the cold start procedure helps

Vtcs delete causes the cold start to be rough. Are you stock motor? My built motor doesn't run good at all until about 120+ and 140+ is when it runs normal basically. Have you checked compression?

Nope, they're still there. And yea, that's what I've been doing for the last year lol always trying to avoid the cold starts, but I miss that loud cold start!

I dont have a Vtcs delete, stock motor, and compression checked out good across the board, however I didn't do a leak down test.

My apologies, I'll move over there!
    Cheers!
