    With all the safety recalls flying around, I figured my first upgrades should focus on making the car safer. We have had a lot of rain lately and my old wipers were barely cutting it, last month I almost failed a safety inspection because of old wipers. My grandma has been complaining too that I drive a bit on the crazy side and she is too vulnerable for that shit so here we go. I installed new wipers and remodeled the interior a bit. I even bought grandma a larger steering wheel if she feels manual steering is too heavy. I love my grandma very much and hope she feels safer now. I even installed a fire extinguisher, not like the car would ever catch on fire, but better safe than sorry.

    Seeing these pictures makes me wish someone would make a full replacement shifter for the 6 :(

    Maybe I could use Corksport's gen 1 shifter? I do not have to worry about the shifter fitting into the center console so if the mechanics are the same, using the shifter on the ms6 should be doable? @CorkSport - Derrick;

    I was thinking more along the lines of the TWM full replacement.

    As long as the stud placement is the same it should work?

    Once the safety is taken care of, more or less, it is time to upgrade the handling and beef up the drivetrain.

    Fat Cat Motorsports custom-valved coils with 1000/700 springs, Whiteline RSB, SPC balljoints, custom Powerbrake BBK with two-piece 340mm x 34mm rotors, 17x9 6ULR's with 255/40/17 Maxxis RC1's, and SURE motor and diff mounts with class 3 (96 duro) urethane.

    Guess power mods are next....

    @Code Monkey I was still consider myself new and sometimes nieve lol. Question why white line over jbr for rsb, I personally couldn't make up my mind and pretty much flipped a coin to choose jbr. This may not be the correct place for that question so I'll happily mine to pm if needed

    That was the only choice for the ms6 at the time, I think now even the Whiteline is discontinued, lol. JBR never offered a RSB for the ms6, CorkSport did at some point, I think, but it is also discontinued.

    Give it a shot. I would but without knowing everything, that's a bit much to spend going in blind IMO

    The transmissions are the same so with no interior you shoudl theroetically be able to use it. Like some guy with a screen name I don't recognize said, getting it mounted in a way that doesn't bind will be the trick.

    Well, I guess it is time for power and cooling mods. :)

    Ron Davis radiator, custom FMIC (using ETS TMIC as a core), ACT 6 puck with prolite flywheel, BNR S3 v1, GrimmSpeed pnp IM, RaceBuilt EM, ATP v-band DP, cp-e single exist exhaust, and a bunch of other minor mods. Freektuned for occasional road racing.

    The car weighs 3,156 with no driver and no fuel.

    Why the ETS TMIC as a FMIC? Why not a larger core?

    I'm sure @Code Monkey will correct me if I'm wrong, but basically he gets two things out of doing it that way:

    1. Short charge piping
    2. Better airflow through the radiator (and therefore lower ECTs) than with a traditional FMIC setup
