'06 MS6 all out build

    The time has come to finally get my built motor going after spending a year recovering from the previous machine shop fucking my block and sleeves and leaving me high and dry.

    Parts on hand:
    -2 spare short blocks with good cranks
    -spare head
    -Darton Dry Sleeves
    -King TriMetal pMax black rod and main bearings
    -Freektune H11 head studs
    -ARP main studs
    -Ecoboost oil pump
    -all timing components
    -Kelford 247-C camshafts
    -Kelford 83lb valve springs
    -oem valves
    -Wiseco Custom 12.5:1 CR pistons with deep intake and exhaust valve reliefs
    -H13 wrist pins w/ .250" walls
    -Total Seal High tension piston rings paired to match my custom pistons
    -Manley H Tuff + rods with 625+ rod bolts
    -Massive Speed BSD plug
    -Massive Speed Oil Pan baffle
    -SP63 Billet Transfer Case Bearing Caps
    -OEM rear main seal
    -RamFab firewall master cylinder brace

    In transit:
    -Xclutch Ceramic Twin Disc rated for 1300 ftlb tq

    Machine work to be completed
    -Darton sleeves installed, bored and honed to 87.5mm 280 grit, 23* cross hatch
    -block and head decked
    -oringed block and head

    Parts carrying over from my stock block setup:
    -PTE 6266 GEN 1
    -Cp-e vband exhaust manifold
    -Kozmic DP
    -CS CBE
    -DTPFAB dump tube
    -PTE PW46 EWG
    -Tial Q BOV
    -DWR modified fuel pump basket w/ TI automotive Hellcat 525 LPH pump and radium venturing (may be replaced with @Maisonvi
    Version if he gets around to completing it any time soon)
    -Aeromotive FPR
    -BC Racing coilovers (rear springs will be upgraded to 700lb)
    -Whiteline RSB
    -CS Strut tower bar
    -SURE rear diff mounts
    -JMF w/ PI

    Goal:
    -Efficient power on lower boost with good transient response

    What advantages does the ecoboost oil pump bring over the normal MZR unit?

    Oem mzr DISI crank since I have 2 in perfect condition. Otherwise, id grab an ecoboost crank

    I mean these pistons made 640+ with ease at 34psi on the same turbo the last time they were used haha

    Damn. Those pistons are sexy af. How much boost can you run with that compression ratio? Or how much did you run to make the 640hp?

    Sounds like a crazy solid build man can't wait to see how it goes! You should make a post about the xclutch as that is the one I am planning to get as well when the time comes curious if the pedal is much stiffer along with whatever else you learn about it from install etc :)

    Quick question about the crankshaft... is it the one from the Focus RS or Mustang Ecoboost that can be used in the Mazdaspeed? Are there any differences or advantages\disadvantages of using the Ford crankshaft?

    From what I've heard, the pistons, rods and crankshaft have the same part numbers.
    On that note, I've used the one from the mustang.
    M-6303-23EB and
    LB5Z-6303-B both work.
