Why not remove the rear sway bar?

The rear sway bar helps add rotation. It’s what you want. Lifting a tire isn’t a bad thing in fwd land. Why would I want the rear gripping so hard? For more understeer? The reason big ol sway bar makes the speed suck less? It helps dial out understeer by loosening up the rear.

I have a larger sway bar on route. Based on tire wear it’s actually necessary.

I'm almost doing that here, but wasn't going quite fast enough.

Yup. Weight transfer in action as well as stiff rear. It’s the way to get fwd to turn.

I’m not sure if I ever got my speed to pick up a wheel. Maybe once lol. The chassis plays a role as well

I can't remember if this was before or after I did all the big suspension mods. It's pretty fucking nasty now though; first time I tested I ran the wheel back and forth at like 30 mph and wound up hitting my head on the window.

Suspension mods are the best. I’m happy I invested where I did.

Indeed; with everything tightened up the car feels more like a piece of clothing rather than a thing you control.

That’s a good way to describe it. Feels great. It’s nice to be able to feel the chassis load up and the weight transfer around. Helps add to driver confidence.

Video from Saturday at Canadian tire Motorsport park DDT.

it was a Volkswagen group event. Mostly Porsches audis and VW’s there. I did not fit in lol. I also really didn’t care.

laps get faster as the video goes on. Couple of nice cars passed. I’ll take it lol

Is the steering ratio really low on that car? Seems like your shuffling your hands a ton on corners that don't seem that tight?

Yea I’m not sure what the deal is. I do have to move my hands a lot. Not sure if seating position or steering ratio or what.

    New meat.
“255” falken rt660. These are closer to a 275 lol. They should still fit but it’s gonna be tight lol.

they feel sticky AF. They’ll be coming with me to the track on Monday as my fast set. Girlfriends gonna bring them in her car.

fronts are “255” and rears are “225” that look more like my current 235’s lol.
