Nator is Nator. I came across a Facebook post, as I am not FB friends with him, but have mutual friends. I saw a link to a GoFundme.

    It reads:
"Shawn Jaworsky was recently riding home from work on a local 4 lane road back to his house. It was mid to late afternoon/early evening. As he was making his way down the right lane of the two in his direction a black pickup truck trying to cross traffic turning left from oncoming traffic pulled out and did not see Shawn on his motorcycle. At the last minute the driver saw him, panicked and froze stopping in the middle of the 2 lanes. Shawn did everything he could to try avoiding the pickup truck, but unfortunately was not successful. Shawn struck the passenger side of the vehicle at approximately 35-40mph. Shawn was ejected off his motorcycle after hitting the pickup truck where he sustained several serious injuries.

Shawn sustained a Broken finger ( will need surgery and a pin to hold finger in place for healing. ) His right knee which took the brunt of the impact was shattered into 4 pieces and will require 1-3 surgeries to repair an reconstruct his knee cap.

As many of you know Shawn is a professional detailer who recently ventured out starting his own detailing business ( Precision-Detailing ). He relies on his hands and body to make his living. While not currently being able to walk and a long recovery road in front of him and no source of income it's going to be tough for him to pay his regular bills, medical expenses and anything else that may come of this unfortunate accident.

If you can afford to help in any way it would be very much appreciated. Even if it's not a donation, thoughts and prayers for Shawn's well being and speedy recovery would be greatly appreciated.
    Help spread the word!"

No need for a Natorwide drive, as the GoFundme is made:

I wish I could donate, that's such a shame. Unfortunately I was laid off Sept. 1 and there's not a whole lot of IT jobs in this area of TN.

    Hey everyone.

Little update. Surgery will be Friday for hand and knee. Also found out left foot/toe is fractured. That's why i couldn't walk at all on my own. Hand/finger will get 2 pins and knee will be patched up. Left foot will eventually heal on its own. Thanks again for everyone who did donate or still plan too or even reached out to me. You have no idea how much it means to me. And how much it's going to help me. Since I'll be out probably solid 3 months and who knows how things will be after that and I just invested a lot of money into starting my business. This just put me in a bad spot.

((Knee is actually way worse and swollen in person)).

Some may not kno me or friends on fb with me. Maybe u kno me by the first 10s ms3 and still the fastest to date :).

But thank u again and thank u raider for posting this up

There is never a good time for this kind of situation. If I was in your place, I would be in a bind as well. Sharing and donating was the right thing to do, my man. Maybe someone can post the same thing on the other forum to help as well.

Good to hear they will get you patched up and back working. How long did they "recommend" you stay off your feet to heal?

They say Full recovery Is like ~3 months so it really screws me especially with winter gonna be creeping up soon in Chicago. I'm sure I'll be able to move around a little more before that. After surgery starts physical therapy right away. But never kno problems down the road.
[doublepost=1475612465][/doublepost]Also up to $2175 on donations, it means so much too me. For all those that donated or just got in contact with me. I can't thank you enough.

But over weekend and recently pain has been worse and I barely sleep. Pain pills don't seem to do what they first did. So I kinda been dealing with it. Thankfully the knee brace we found in our house, from when my brother had leg surgery, it's hooked up to a container and runs water thru it. So Ice and water helps relieve pain.

Still can't walk on my own or do anything yet. Did get finger surgery, 2 rods were installed. Have to wait for knee surgery till this weekend.

Be sure to work on the flexibility as soon as you are able to on the knee after the surgery, massively important to get the range of motion back and work on the repair of the muscle tissue as soon as the Dr says you are ok to start. I got to go through this with my mom in the past and it is no fun at all.

Yeah I start physical therapy like couple days after surgery their telling me.

Update: pain has gotten worse in knee since Friday/Saturday. Pain pills don't seem to do shit. Surgery is Friday. Can't get new pain pills till I get the new health insurance policy number (Dad changed jobs, still on his plan till like March). I basically get no sleep. I'm lucky to finally doze off at like 6am. And sleep like 1-2 hours. All I usually get is a couple power naps here and there throughout the day.

I'm def Starting to get depressed. There has been a lot of shit going on where this accident completely screwed me even more.

I guess upside is, I do have an appointment to meet with lawyer next week Friday to sue this guy. But who knows how long any of that will take. It just really sucks.

Unfortunately, I haven't done development in a number of years. Last 9 have been as a business analyst, focused on ERP system installs and post cutover support. Problem I'm having here is that most jobs are looking for health care experience and Agile methodology, neither of which I have. But thanks for the tip.

Getting this back on track, hope Shawn is feeling better.
