Hello new here. Any and all help would be appreciated.
I have a jmf v2 that I bought long before the st manifold. I'm trying to build a fuel system on my own similar to the sp63 with a radium surge tank with 2 044 bosch pump. Getting a deal on the surge tank, pumps, lines and fittings. So has any one ever ran a surge tank set up? If what are the ups and downs? And any issues with running the set up that I need to avoid?

I was looking at the possibility of running this way. Went a different route instead. Pretty straight forward though.

Im planning to do the following:

    16w Fabworks Intake Manifold
    Injector Dynamics ID1000
Radium FST-R (with Walbro 450 and integrated FPR)
    Aeromotive Stealth 325 Intank Pump

Your stock intank fuel pump should be plenty to keep up with with having a surge tank. At least I will try it that way.

Has anyone had any experience with the 044 Bosch pumps? Deciding if I really need both of the pumps to support 550 ish. I have read up and have gotten different results. Just don't want to be returning a massive amount of fuel if I don't need it.

Which model surge tank will you be running...for 550 I'd say single Walbro should be up to the task

I have a radium external multi pump tank which I can run a single pump off of. And I bought this off a friend for a real good deal and it came with 2 044 pumps. Was in his pro am drift car until he upgraded for this season.
