All your turbos are belong to me. Yes, all of them bitches. Now hand 'em over.

I figured it's time to migrate my thread to these neck of the woods. Without further adieu lets recap my speed's progress.

Stock as a rock. Sometime in 2013. I can't remember when, but Melissa if you're out there? Fuck you bitch. Oh sorry about that.
    [IMG][IMG]

Here she is at 6k miles. Mods were FBO and GTX2867r Big thanks to @Mzr0818 if you're still around buddy how's that 3067r treating you? Oh yeah that's my specv in the back god bless its soul. It's off to greener pastures now (friend has it).

Ended up going TMIC with Colin Hudson's help. He's no longer in the speed game.

I ended up fiddle farting with E a little bit here and there, but the drive to get gas just wasn't worth it. Ended up screwing up my internals using E too and could never figure it out until one day a year later I decided to clean the bitches and haven't had a problem since.

Another picture I'm moving over to here

ended up getting a 3067r installed and meth tank built. No pictures of the turbo unfortunately.

Here's a vdyno from the setup. I'm not sure what the CF1.01 is. I'm sure I still have the log but I'm just too lazy to be assed with it right now.

    then this happened
    [IMG]

    so this happened
    HTA3586
    [IMG]
    Custom T3 manifold

How she ended up on this setup until June 2016 (where the car has been sitting since)

oh yeah I did do something crazy and tried to see how far I could get on just stock fueling w/ hpfp upgrade. There's a thread here I believe and a lot of tempers in it. Check it out, but it's locked now for good reason.

There's a whole bunch of logs but I'm not reupping those. Sorry.

So I decided to just try and fit the largest turbo I could think of and see if I could get 1 size larger in. I had planned on an EFR8374 and decided to just up the difficulty with the EFR9180. How it compares to a HTA3586. It dwarfs it. Then again the 9180 is approximately a 94 or 95lb turbo.

    Here are my current plans.

I'm going to be going to a mostly entirely custom setup. That includes intercooler, intercooler piping, manifold, downpipe, intake etc. Everything is being done by a shop located in Bahama, NC called BoostFab LLC. They do amazing one-off work.

On the intake side I'm moving to the soon-to-be-released (hopefully) 16w Fabworks manifold for that center throttlebody mount life.

Here's how she is all parted out with turbo in-tow in the bay.

Last Thursday this happened. If everything goes to plan I should have the car back between 60-90 days. Albeit depending on 16w Fabworks because I can't have it completed without the intake manifold
    [IMG]

Also most of my fueling setup. I'm going to be running 2 tanks. 12 gallon in the hatch with 2 Bosch 044 inline pumps and a battery relocate. Also going to be running the kozmic OEM fuel cell replacement with holly 12-1800 fuel pump. Injectors are bosch 2200cc/220lb'ers. For safety I did purchases and install an AEM wideband failsafe. And, If I need more fueling headroom I can always install meth again. Primary fuel is going to be an E mix since I have so many stations now that are carrying ethanol around me. It just makes sense now.

Also my OP can't be complete without a gun picture. Meet my most recent purchase.

You're literally making zero hps now. I am disapopint.

I think I need to send in my EOTech to have it fixed. Fade game is strong.

You know you could just sell it back to EOTECH. I think they are buying back all of their optics b/c of the extreme weather POI shift problem every single one of them have.

Assuming the standard 12% Speed 3 drivetrain loss, that EFR9180 should be good for 840whp, at least. I think the challenge will be shoehorning it in there, haha. Cool stuff, man.

Any recommendations on EWG? I can't seem to make up my mind between Tial or Precision. Also, going to be going with a 4inch downpipe and it's not going to be hood dumped. It's going to be ran out the back. 4inch all the way out to the back of the car.

Hope that 4" fits all the way back; in any case, welcome back bud.

If you cant decide between Tial and Precision for your gate, just go with a Turbosmart haha

My uninformed (about EWG) 0.02: I don't think you could go wrong with Tial, Precision, or Turbosmart, so long as it's big enough for your application. I'd finalize your decision with your tuner.

Thats a lot of turbo. Neat build for sure. Custom stuff is always fun. Looking forward to where it goes.

I remember the 500 hp on stock fueling system. I was a bit of the tempers in there I think. Mostly because I didnt want new idiots saying "well its been done up to 500" and then blowing shit up.

Yeeeah. That was not safe by any means. It was never meant to be. It's one of those things either the stupid or crazy do and I think I'm a little bit of both.

I got no problems with testing (if you are brave/stupid enough and have the money)

That whole thing was done explicitly to test to see if my fueling theories were correct, and it went a lot further than I thought it would be able to go.

As I'm going through design choices as the fab is underway I'm left with only one option for intake and that is to convert to blow through so there's no need to have an intake. My turbo is literally going to be almost sitting where a traditional intake setup would have its filter located. Plus it just plains look cooler to see the wheel of the turbo with only with a screen there.

After doing a little research I think I'm going to try the PMAS HPX-N1 which only requires a 95mm housing to read over 1300whp worth of air. I'm guessing I'm going to need an adapter extension to convert to the ford connector and cold side will need a long stretch of straight pipe that's 3.74 inch max in ID.

maf info can be found here: http://www.pmas-maf.com/hpx/
    • 2.5″ housing 580 WHP
    • 3″ housing 830 WHP
    • 3.5″ housing 1130 WHP
    • 80mm housing 900 WHP
    • 85mm housing 1050 WHP
    • 95mm housing over 1300 WHP
you'll have to select the N1 tab.

IMG_3615.JPG IMG_3614.JPG Welp. It's on like donkey Kong. I was given a little teaser. Said head flange and runners are being worked on and I'm sure I'll have something to show here soon.

Progressing quite nicely. Gonna look pretty cool through the hood with no intake.
