I haven't looked at versatuner in awhile since my car has been down and I don't have the software installed yet nor my car to be able to install. However, I was wondering is there an IAT calibration table?

My plan is to go draw thru maf due to my space limitations in my build on the intake side. I know this post is a little bit of a byproduct of my laziness, but is there such a table? Is there such a table that can be implemented?

I don't recall that being available in either AP or VT....It's possible that those settings are locked down in the ECU and not available or exposing, but you can hit the VT forums and ask if that's something that can be exposed.

Since OE is draw-through, I'm guessing you mean blow-thru?

I don't believe there should be any temperature calibration unless you changed the sensor.

IAT is measured at the MAF, and although we can scale the MAF (so that different voltages equate to different grams/second amounts) for larger-than-stock intakes, we can't control the IAT aspect. Why would you want to adjust how your MAF reads IAT? Other tables exist that can alter timing or fueling based on BATs (which follow IAT - higher IATs = higher BATs). That should give you all the control you need for knock avoidance in hot weather, for instance.

pretty simple. To use another MAF designed for blow-through application. Without IAT calibration or tables it makes it nearly impossible to do unless by chance the IAT on the new maf is within spec of the OEM IAT sensor. I don't need to modify IAT for fueling, etc. I just need it to work within spec of the OE unit, but I have a work around.

Yeah, but you're doing some major things. This guy is going to have a pretty run-of-the-mill setup. I can't think of any practical reason why he'd need to go blow through. If he just wants some VTA noises, Get a GFB Respons and set it to like 30% VTA to have the sound an minimal, if any, negative drivability affects, you know?

Were there any benefits or was it mostly a pain to mess with?

The transition point from vacuum to boost at lower throttle inputs felt way better, otherwise there wasn't much difference. The maf cal was no more difficult than my original setup.

But moving the 3.5" maf to my cold pipe did allow me to switch to a full 4" intake which was a big bonus.

Is that the maf in the TB picture, did you run IAT from the OEM sensor too? Did the maf scale ok? What size was the pipe?

The cold pipe is 3" at the IC, but the maf section is 3.5" with an airflow straightener at the beginning. The oem IAT in the maf worked fine.

Just did a normal maf calibration and was good to go.
