I could do it for less than that (maybe a little over $100) with a universal kit from CX or and some couplers from siliconeintakes.com, I'll bet.

Looks like the CX kit for $110: (2.0mm piping).

Treadstone (a little nicer) costs like $180 for their kit, but it has no clamps and is only 2.1mm piping (essentially the same). I'd just do the CX.

have at it then, champ. ozzy and erick put together a solution through siliconeintakes; moose mimicked it and said it cost $200+. the single piece solutions that some of the smaller fab shops on the platform are now releasing are $250+. it doesn't bring you to the pricepoint of a JMF, no, but it cuts a good way into that "fost is cheaper" gap.

Yeah, the universal siliconeintakes kits don't come with couplers or clamps and are ~$100, so I could see the extras adding an extra $100 or so. CX is the least expensive way to go. And if you have a buddy who welds, all you need is a coupler on the IC, and one on the TB.

I'm on CS turbo and CS TMIC, 3" catless turboback, stock block. currently 93 octane, but WMI to come once i have the funds for it because my BATs are hotter than Alison Brie.
agreed; if you have a welding hookup, that would drastically reduce the cost of having a nice pipe put together with as few couplers as possible. i'd love to see someone find a cheap solution to the cold pipe problem, though, since i'm hoping to eventually go fost mani at some point down the line.

I think I will go with OEM Clutch ... but I don't which type of flywheel to have the same feeling of the OEM but the price because this LUK is way to high I know it's a dual mass ... do we have other option for a dual mass on the market ...

FMIC and meth injection will give you "max" cooling. It's the only way you'll get below ambient boost temps.

You're splitting hairs on that one. I'd just get treadstone because it's familiar and common to the platform.

Well not to be a dick but soooo many of your questions were already answered. Simple questions that could have been found by reading. I'm honesty surprised so many were answered. Are you sure this move and this car is for you? To me it seems like you are uninformed and don't exactly realize the amount of money you're going to dump into this car, and the maintenance and upkeep it's going to require being built. Again I'm not trying to be an asshole, I just don't want to watch someone dump a shit ton of money into something and not realize what they've just done.

Don't overthink it, man. Treadstone is super common on this platform, likely for a reason. Do some google research on the various brands or just get a TR8 and be done with it.

I believe this question was also posed in chat, and answered by a few different people. The only "bad" cores are the cheapo no-name from ebay. Treadstone have been proven to be able to take abuse. At some point you just gotta trust the masses.

If you really want "the best" as far as cooling goes, you need to do a water over air set up. That will get you all the cooling you will need.

But really, since you are on a K04, get a treadstone TR6 or TR8. They are both more than enough.
