    Pretty sure he posts here or on GRM because I know I saw the tread (and those are the only two car sites I frequent in a regular basis). I'm coming up short though and searching on my phone sucks.

    Found him, it is @Sin Loki

    I didn't think it was him at first because I remember he said he was running VMR wheels. The pictures on the linked article showed a speed with what looked like oem wheels, so I thought it was someone else. But then I found his thread (https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/hi.4145/) where he said he raced as number 805, and that is also the number on the Speed3 in the article.

    ah looks like his pictures were a victim of the photobocalypse so I couldn't find them. I thought it looked familiar as the aero was semi unique to the car so it stood out.
