That's what I was going for :) Our game isn't leaving me butthurt. I'm not going to go all HawkeyeGeoff and do 3 dozen dislikes in a row. That would make me a hypocrite.
[doublepost=1491319523][/doublepost]Oh, BTW, think their Genpu kits are similarly a win? I've run out of mods to do, LOL.

@nekret has a thread on their Pu kit; I think he's a bit less satisfied with the quality/functionality of the struts themselves, but I have no complaints about mine and have only gotten compliments from everyone else who has seen them.

To me, the bolt-in solution for the brackets is the real win with these kits; we can always look for higher quality struts to substitute in but I love not having to add new drill holes/rivets.

Yeah, the no-hole-drilling is one of the main points I like. I just hope they can hold up my hood well. With my hoodscoop block-off plate, it weighs a good deal more than stock.

I would be curious to see if the added weight gives you issues if you do try these out. The only questionmark I have about my kit is the actual quality/longevity of the struts; if they shit out on me and stop supporting the weight, I'll have to research what a suitable replacement/upgrade would be that can still snap in with these brackets.

I ordered three sets of juan and two sets of pu for myself and the locals...it brought the shipping price down a bit by ordering them all together. Should be here any day now. I'll make sure to report back any issues.

Just received a set of these for my Gen One and unfortunately one of the strut seals was blown out when I opened the package, therefore it's useless. The speed line return policy is bullshit, I pay for return shipping because the package is open. How do I know it's defective if I don't open it??? I guess you always take a chance when ordering directly from China, a $70 lesson for me, won't do it again. Glad everyone else has had a good experience. Just ordered a set of prosport hood dampers instead

Looks like winter has killed one of my struts, so I guess it's time to research a replacement pair to strap in on these brackets. I still think this set is a win for the price after shipping as a simple bolt-in setup.

Mine have been good so far in the winter but I do park in a warm garage so maybe being outside 24/7 did it.

Mine have been perfect so far, but others that ordered with me are starting to fail. I also park in an insulated garage year round where everyone else local to me parks outside.

I also park outside 24/7, in WI, so it must be related to the cold. New mini-project will be researching a suitable pair of replacement struts to snap onto these brackets.
[doublepost=1518567685][/doublepost]Ordered a potential replacement pair this afternoon for $20 shipped, will report back with results!

I guess I'll be glad on what I paid for the Redline kit. No issues and been on for a couple of years.

I do think that they include cheap struts with this package; however, for me, the true benefit of it is still the direct bolt-in brackets. No measuring or permanent modification required is a big plus, IMO.

Plus if it is a winter only issue it won't affect everyone and if that 20$ replacement you got works well you are still money ahead.

They're here, they're in, and they're definitely higher quality struts than what the kit comes with. The cylinder is beefier, the seals are much more robust, and the overall construction just feels far superior.

The specific part that I ordered is Suspa C16-22360, 13" extended/8" compressed, 35lbs each. $20 for the pair on Amazon prime. They snapped right onto the Speedline brackets with no issue; even the little c-clips feel higher quality and were easier to manage.
