I am in need of new summer tires as the stock dunlops i have ran almost bald.

Here what i'm looking at for replacements

    Hankook Ventus v12 evo 2 $212C
    https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Hankook/Ventus+V12+evo2+(K120)/1015414?vehicleid=96444

    Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 $167C
    https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Firestone/Firehawk+Indy+500/012360?vehicleid=96444

    BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 $199C
    https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/BFGoodrich/g-Force+Sport+COMP-2/11558?vehicleid=96444

    Goodyear Eagle F1 $215C
    https://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Goodyear/Eagle+F1+Asymmetric+3/783163388?vehicleid=96444

I'm leaning towards the Friestone Firehawks as they are getting great reviews everywhere and are the cheapest.

I put Firehawks on my front wheels about a month or so ago. So far, so good, but I haven't REALLY put them through their paces yet. They do seem a great value for the price based on the reviews that I read before buying.

@JohnnyTightlips has the Hankooks and likes them.

I had the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All Season tires before. They were very responsive, but also turned out pretty noisy. I know they are not the same tires as the summer tires, but might want to do more research on those with regards to tire noise.

Talk to my Tire guy and he said they can't keep the firehawks in stock there flying off the self and has heard nothing but positive feed back from customers, so I went with them as the price can't be beat. He said they should be in by Friday.

Firehawks are on, did some errands last night and noticed there actually better ride then the stock dunlops and I seem to have more grip all though i have not really tested that yet.

A buddy of mine with a bolted up Stage-Dingleberry GTI has the firehawks and really likes. His only gripe was the low wear rating, but even with that in mind he said for the price they were great tires.

They're 340tw, iirc; not too bad for a good summer tire, imo.

the Firehawks were super noisy, but I had all seasons so maybe that was to blame. I never went back to them.

decent super cheap tires - Riken Raptors - decent in a straight line/cornering is meh, but for the price, awesome.
good Cheap Tires - Sport Comp 2s - awesome tire for the price.

    Notice mentions - RE760 (now RE71) - Great Choice. but $$$$$

I run Firehawks, and don't have any complaints about them. They have pretty decent wet performance too, fine to drive after a heavy rain.

I also have all 3 damond mounts though so I'm sure the vibes probably overpower any tire noise, lawlll

Haha I could have told you that, been there done that! But I love the solid shifter bushings.
Glad to hear you like the new rubber, stock Dunlop's are pretty poop in my opinion, I got lucky and got a used set of pilot super sports with 70% tread for $450, almost through those now I'd love another set but not with that price tag, next set will be sumitomo htrz3 heard some amazing things one co worker has them on his 328i and cannot break them loose, so I'll give them a try on the fwd spinner lol
