Replacement Filter for Corksport intake

So some mice decided to make a nest out of the air filter on my car. I have had the Corksport SRI (whaterver they call the smallest diameter one they offeer) for a long time with no complaints but with needing to replace the filter i figured that i could get something that fills more of the available space. the filter that came with the SRI is about 6 inches long, and there is about 3 or 4 more inches that could be used.

Any suggestions on size, brand and where to buy would be appreciated.

 

A 4" intake seems the logical choice.

Once you get the model number i would just pump it into google and buy from someone i like or just ask edge im sure they can get it.

 

I have the same CS SRI and a mazdaspeed 3” intake. I have a K&N that is amazing. It was kind if pricey but it really pulls air in great IMO. I could defintely tell a difference from my old one.

 

My CS filter got shredded, presumably from the unit hitting the hood under acceleration, so I went to AutoZone and bought a generic fabric/mesh cone filter, slapped it on and I have been good to go for over a year.

How old was the filter? It shredded? Haha

 

if you were hitting the hood i dont think you had it lined up correctly. The motor would hit the firewall first.

I will be getting off my lazy ass this weekend to measure the available space and ordering the appropriate AEM dryflow. sticking with the dryflow because i am cheap and already have a bottle of cleaning solution. Also since the filter has been on there about 80,000 miles and there is absolutely no dirt on the inside of the intake

 

Treadstone sells some varying length dry run filters, you might have to check w/ them on availability, though.

Dang that’s crazy man... And Sounds like that AEM was doing great then!

 

I do think that it was installed with the filter too high, and I probably should have twisted it downward. Instead, I went to AutoZone and bought a no-name cone filter and it has been fine for well over a year now.
