I agree. Just seent it. Johnny Van in TN had this done. He had weld cracking issues. I think they were poop welds. Weld to cast is no fun to do. Proper weld is proper.

This was an $80 job, $20 of it being for a t-shirt repping his shop. Brett is awesome and does some crazy shit. He's a DSM guy from what I think I know.

So update time. Christmas/work was good to me and I managed to get some good extra cash to pick up some more shit and re think plans for this coming season.

I am ditching my meth setup and going all in on a port injection system me and @SharksInSpace have come up with, very heavily influenced by @KingScumbag and his idea (before he changed his method).
We have decided we are going to be totally irresponsible and run a deadhead, returnless PI system like the one @Sho is successfully using on his current 500+whp build. This is obviously not the most recommended way to do things, but it is cheap, and also a great start to getting into everything. If we ever want to go with a return, it's as simple as throwing on a regulator and running a line back to the tank.

I have so far gathered almost everything I need. I am waiting on my wire tuck harness to be done (from Eric), and I am waiting to buy a SS controller until the end of the month.

Here is my collection of fittings and such
    [IMG]

    and my cute lil ITFP
    [IMG]

I am going to be using -6AN fittings and push lock hose. Utilizing mostly Fragola fittings and some Russell. I am also utilizing a Damond stock manifold PI spacer and ID1050X injectors to provide fuel.
If anybody wants the link to the Google doc to see what parts/part numbers I used, let me know and i'll get it to you.

Hopefully by late Feb/early March I will be commissioning Overspeed Motorsports to build my block for more powah. Shooting for 475~500hp on my BNR S4 and the PI setup. We'll see what the turbo will do. Once that is done, I am considering riding it out, recouping funds, and going with an even bigger turbo and shooting for 575~600 and leave it at that until I get bored.

Go big or go home. Let me know if you guys have any questions or comments about what I got going on. Always happy to answer.

What IM are you using again? ST?

And the dead head system is fine, I ran one and its ok, but it can limit you for sure. Granted your turbo and other things might limit you first.

Using a stock manifold and the Damond spacer kit. Trying to track down a Relentless PnP manifold, or comparable stock PnP manifold.

I know it will limit me. I will more than likely add a return and FPR, but just to get started this should be okay.

A ported manifold will limit you a ton. Not sure you can make your 500 goal on that with a S4 pushing the air.

I'm gonna see where it takes me. Would be cool to see where I can get using a stock ported manifold. I've seen people on big power using a stock manifold, but we'll see

The S4 can shove a lot of air into your engine but the main issue is the flow imbalance.
You can always swap them out later but it is a little easier when the engine is out already.

You want all 4 cylinders making the same AFR. By balancing the 4 cyclinders you add lifespan and power.
The stock intake and exhaust manifolds leave a lot to be desired in terms of balanced flow.

It would be cool to see this build makes on stock manifolds, then swapping on some proper ones.

That's the plan right now. I will be going as far as I can with the stock manifolds and get a concrete number of where it starts to hinder things

Planning on then switching to the CS V1 intake manifold with my Damond spacer, and I am awaiting the release of the CS exhaust manifold as well.

[doublepost=1546555271][/doublepost]Just got this sexy thing in the mail today. ID1050X injectors (also ordered through Damond) will be here tomorrow. I am so fucking excited to get everything on the car. This spacer just got me moister than an oyster...

Oh boy, my heart can't handle all of the parts coming to my doorstep.

Got my Injector Dynamics ID1050x fuel injectors today from the kind guys over at Damond. Absolutely beautiful. Really getting hyped up. Ordered my SS controller the other day and that should be here next week. Only thing left is my harness, and i'm all good to go. So ready for it all to go down.

So I finally pulled the trigger on getting a block built for me. The only obvious choice was none other than Jordan Keefover at Overspeed Motorsports.

This is a ~600whp capable block. I will be ~475-500 on the current turbo and PI setup when the tune is done (will definitely be pushing the limits of the S4v2).

I look forward to keeping you all updated on the progress. Shooting for mid/late March to get the engine here, and then comes the install.

Anticipation boners have been popped and won't go away.
