I am about to install Darton dry sleeves for my MZR DISI block. The exact pn is 300-051. I contacted Darton and requested installation instructions (attached). The instructions call for 0.000 - +0.001 clearance between the block ID and sleeve OD, which is in contrary to all the other sources I have so far contacted, including Darton's own web site/technical material which states that dry sleeves are always installed with an interference fit, in a case of aluminium block and ductile iron sleeves, 0.005 - 0.015 interference with 100°F temperature differential.

If anyone has actually installed Darton 300 series sleeves for Mazda engine, please help.

Darton's product catalogue, see page 47 for information about dry sleeves: https://dartonsleeves.com/pdf/dsCatalogue2018-web.pdf

Aren't the sleeves supposed to be cooled down well below freezing after machined to spec?
