probably want to move that regulator or at least build a mount for it. I have heard of peoples snapping off the fittings (they arent designed to support a part like that) Yes I know others have done it this way, but if that fails, you now have fuel all over a hot engine, let me tell you how well that goes.

Thanks guys for the explanations on my behalf, I'll try to be more active here
[doublepost=1545807179][/doublepost]Most recent pics of the build. It's looking like a car again! Wanted it running by my bday but I made some changes and a few secret upgrades that I think will be worth the tiny delay. I've waited 2 years to have a built Mazdaspeed 3 with my desired mods, what's another few weeks? Just ready to drive the car again honestly 48378465_334448260493899_9046869247724093440_n.jpg

idk so far it has served Brent Sipe well on his 6062 at over 700hp at crank, he's now 6466 like me and I guess we'll both find it's limit.

On another note the car should fire next week, I guess we'll see. I have more update pics but I'd rather save some of the custom things I had Chris do to my bay lol. I am very anxious to drive car again after 2 years since ZZB

Car has been running for about a week now, I have videos on my instagram. Car is quiet as stock with the 3" dp hooked up to the stock cbe at the moment. I have 2 solutions of how to get more flow out of the 2.25/2.5" stock exhaust. I have an original Greddy Ti-C catback laying around for the car that I have been wanting to use for years, but I still haven't decided if I wanna run it and possibly damage the muffler with the violent afterfires since this cbe has been discontinued since 2011 or 2012 and it took me a whole year to track one down. Break in begins this week, then my guy will be bringing the car back to me shortly after.

Raiderfab bumper latch setup has been ordered. Shoutout to @Raider for the MSO discount code as well. This is gonna get me the bumper fitment I've been looking for since I first ruined this bumper on many speed bumps while lowered. Ordering a lot of new OEM bumper and headlight hardware too

First two pictures are from when I picked it up 2 Thursday's ago (bay is now covered in pollen, yay). I drove it 8hrs home on a basemap provided by my tuner Ryan at PD-Tuning.com with some tweaked maf cal and idle revision. Not a single hiccup so far, and had the oil changed at 500 mile mark at a Mazda dealership on my roadtrip from Arkansas back to Texas with my break in dino oil and my preferred Napa Gold filter with very specific instructions (of course I checked dipstick and filter tightness before pulling off, the employees were blown away and didn' charge me but told me not tell anyone they work on modified cars for liability sake). This last Saturday I slapped on my 3" catback with my buddy and did a live tuning session with Ryan in Mexico and got a lot of the 93 octane DI and PI dialing in done. It needs another hour or so of revisions on the 93 tune before we start working on E85 later this upcoming weekend. This turbo hits like a VTEC push x10 when it comes online, but we are far from seeing what it can even do on pump 93. I have to give Chris at Speed Solutions for making this a true turn key build for me that was ready to start tuning with no hiccups besides a shitty serial cable. I literally just started tuning since PI was verified to be working and spark plugs were gapped to Ryan's liking. I'll post some more current photos soon

[doublepost=1552363251][/doublepost]Also Chris had already done the 200 mile break in and 3 oil changes prior to me picking it up so I could just cruise straight home safely. It was a easy trip thanks to all of that preparation on his end. He aired up the tires, rinsed body off and wiped interior down. The twin disk clutch took a little second to get used to but I haven't driven stick consistently in roughly 26 months so that's part of it.
[doublepost=1552363384][/doublepost]Chris also had already secured my spare gen2 trans for me which was another concern of mine when transporting it in the spare well for a 8hr ride

Glad to see it all finished and you got the break-in mileage all done with an 8hr drive right after pickup to boost the confidence. I'm ready to see videos of this car smashing

Safe to say my goals have likely been met. Car is running 34psi on 93 octane with 93 in both tanks, and a bit more on e85 in the aux PI cell, 93 in the oem tank. So far I love the setup. The R888R's help greatly with this setups violent spool up. I'll try to get some better videos tonight when my brother goes for a spin with me tomorrow but my bro Nate recorded some pulls after we put some fresh NGK's in last weekend. We'll throw it on the dyno in the fall and see what it does for now I'm just going to enjoy it on the weekends.

    What needs to be done:
    1. Fix Coolant leak at one of the hoses at coolant housing
    2. Install new front rotors and pads (they are fine but suck, they are cheap ebay setup with powdercoated hats I did years ago when I stocked out)
    3. New rear tires for my RX8 wheels
    4. Proper Alignment with my rear arms adjusted (also replace squeaking old JBR design camber arm)
    5. New driver side axle (brand new DTA axle already has a torn boot after doing some logs on a curved toll road in Mexico)
    6. Reinstall OEM horn (wires need to be extended due to my battery relocation)
    7. Replace one of the dangling windshield fluid resevoir hoses that has rubbed on the tires during acceleration
    8. Reinstall OEM windshield fluid resevoir (didn't put it inside the car with the oem parts so it never got reinstalled
    9. Switch to synthetic oil at 2k mile mark (probably going to do Pennzoil Platinum 5w-30. I have oem bearing and main clearances so I need to run 5w-30 or 5w-40)
