Well boys and girls, it's almost time. Jordan should have the block shipped by the middle of next week, and install scheduled for the first weekend of march. I have a big ass box of parts and an itch to get this shit going. After break in, engine will be tuned by Rob at Hypnotic (obviously), going with a 93oct Etune to start out with no PI, and then I have a spot for me over at Fab 9 tuning on their new Mustang dyno to get my E85 tune done and turn on the PI. Bryan has been a huge help in getting this car on the dyno and I can't thank him enough.

I'm about ready to make some jam and come out swinging this season. I cannot wait to get this show on the road.

It's a stock exhaust manifold with an EWG port, yes. Only temporary until CS releases their new cast manifold.

Well today I got a big delivery. Engine from Overspeed arrived this morning, all nicely packaged away in an engine crate with my Damond motor mounts, and all the break in oil I need. Super stoked right now, I fell like a 10 year old on Christmas.

Plan is tomorrow afternoon we are getting it over to my buddies garage and getting started. Going to have the engine out quickly and i'll be damned if the new engine isn't installed by the end of Saturday.

I will take as many pictures as I can, but priority is getting the engine finished and running for next week and I can break it in. Fingers crossed we don't run into any issues.

Can't believe I have come this far already. Super hyped for this season and what i'll be doing.

That packaging looks pretty sweet. Good luck getting it done by Saturday. So many little dumb things come up, but hopefully you get shit done.

So sad news, a bunch of family things came up today for this weekend, AND my buddy I'm doing the swap at had some things go wrong as well.

Pushing install to next weekend sadly. But gives me more time to check everything.

That sounds like something you would tell women when you wanna bring them back to your place.

"Wanna come back to the shed and have some... Coffee?"

Decided to unwrap the first layer today since it wasn't raining and gross outside.

Gotta say... This makes me fucking excited as hell to get it in. A+++ job on packaging and presentation. Even comes with the oil pan (didn't think it would). I am ready to tear shit up. Just driving today in this beautiful weather and actually getting into boost felt so good... Car still pulls like a train with 0 meth and only allowing myself to hit 17psi or so. I'll be sure to take even more pictures once it's out of the plastic and on a good surface for install....

Progress so far. Just routing the harness the rest of the way and getting things finished up.

Turns out my HG was fucked, and my VVT fhaun was stretched a lot. Glad we pulled it when we did. Compression is probably low on a cylinder or 2 and rings frying, pushing oil from the gasket. Besides that we are making our way and first start should be tomorrow. Trying to take as many pics as possible but it's been hard in between trying to get this shit done. Lot more work than anticipated but we good. Stoked for first start :)

Well after everything, engine is in. Started up with no issues. Have a few little things to sort out, but that will come with time. Also have no power steering because I don't think the PS was plugged in LOL.

I just wanted to thank everyone who has helped me get here. It's been a group and forum effort. Just need a dump pipe welded up and then we can get this break in over with and letting it rip :)

Hit the 500 mile marker on the way to work this morning and it just so happened I had the oil and filter with me as well :) switched out the Driven BR30 break-in oil for some nice, premium PUP 0w40. Just need to get my dump tube fabbed up and I can start logging. Just waiting on my fab guy to get some more tubing and I'll be good to go :)

I think it's about time for a fucking update.
Been super busy, sorry for the delay my people.

I have gotten a lot done. I have like 2500 miles on the engine so far and has not skipped a beat at all. Running this 0w40 Pennzoil Ultra Platinum and the car seems to like it. Will be getting Blackstone to do a report on it once it is time to change oil.

Got my EWG dump made up. For those that don't know, this is a temporary setup until CS releases their new manifold in the next few months. It is working fine so far and I have had 0 issues. Just had to cut into the car a lil bit for it to fit, but we made it work. I'll go top mount eventually, and I have heard I need to trim up there anyways, so who knows. It worked. The dump is just mild steel and welded by my buddy. Again, went cheap bc temporary. Did not wanna shell out for stainless just to have it pulled off and not used in the future.

Started off changing out my ITFP for the sexier AEM pump. I got the AEM 50-1215. Only problem is the hooks this comes with. I had to snip the pictured clips off so it would fit in the housing properly. I am not sure others had this issue, but on my GenPu I did. Just took a pair of snips and broke em off. EZPZ. 50-1215-webpage-lead_0.png

Here are pics from install. Took about 40min minus the time it took to cut the hole in the floor the week before.

    00100lPORTRAIT_00100_BURST20190423130954516_COVER.jpg
(Old filter was disgusting. Used a new OEM and it went right on the AEM with no issues. I did NOT use the one included with the pump as it just doesnt work with the OEM regulator and such)

Didn't take many as I was on my lunch at work and did not want to go over that. Finished a lot sooner than I thought. After install, car fired right up with no issues. I will tell you tho if you have a GenPu that is daily driven and you are in an area that used salt in winter, get a set of easy outs for the ITFP cover screws. 75% of mine had to be forcefully removed from the rust.

Once that was done, I tackled the wiring for the SS controller. I used the same hole I made for the WotBox wiring and it was a perfect fit. I routed the wiring behind that heat shield thing with the heater core hoses and I had PLENTY of harness left over to tuck it away (for my standards, anyways).

(Yes, I cleaned all the shit from everything. This scoop is a fucking dirt collector. Been wanting to make a block off for it or get that new vent that's going around... Decisions, decisions...)

Today, I tackled some more of the PI hoses and fittings. All I have left to do is put the splice on the HPFP feed, power the SS controller, and flash my maps. Everything else has been taken care of. Rob got me my main E85 base map yesterday and is working on the SS map too as we speak. Will hopefully be hitting the dyno by the end of the month to get it tuned and ready for Gridlife with my friends.

(Utilizing the gauge just so I can verify rail pressure at any time I need. Figured it would come in handy for diagnosing any future issues if they arise, and adds a little bit of a cooler look)

Also got my wheels and tires loaded up to get mounted tomorrow. Once these are mounted, I gotta drop the drivers side coilover and adjust the camber plate. Alignment next week as well and the car will look mediocre and basic af, just how I like it :)
(The bolts are too far up, causing them to be covered by the strut tower. Yes, it is cut, but my alignment is fucked anyways)

Chassis hit 100k also. I've had it since 36k miles and I swear I have loved every mile. Even modded, this car has been truly reliable and has only left me stranded twice for a clutch failure, and the FPRV deciding to crap out during a race.
    MVIMG_20190428_192408.jpg

I love all of you guys that have given me advice and criticism thus far. I really feel like I am part of a family and it's fucking awesome. But we're not done yet. I will try to update this more and find time. It's only up from here. Once the car is on the dyno, I will get videos of the runs, datalogs, pictures, you name it. I am fucking PUMPED for what it will feel like.

If you want any more info, just let me know.
I appreciate and love you all. This has been so exciting.
[doublepost=1557267751][/doublepost]And yes, the disgusting valve cover will be changed out. I have another one I am going to be welding vents into for CC ventilation and getting it all prettied up. I have cool plans for it, just wait and see.

Well Dyno has been scheduled for Friday morning! Going to be taking videos and logs of each pull. Fingers crossed all goes well and I hit my goals. Manifolds will limit me most likely but still have high hopes!!
