well I got 107k out of my car before the brakes started getting bad. Probably my personal record!

Everyone still using hawk pads or is EBC what's popular now?

Haven't had to change mine yet. In the past on every other vehicle, I always used autozone or advanced brake pads but most owners of speeds are vehemently against those brands. I will say the brakes suck on my car but pretty sure it's the rotors not being big enough.

I'm curious what other members here use for when I need to replace mine.

rotors are plenty big IMO. good pads and stainless steel lines make a big difference

I put ebc blank rotors and yellow pads on mine. They're good for dd. Less dust than stock, but there is or used to be an intermittent squeal at light brake loads. This could be because I did not follow EBC's break in procedure as I tossed them on and was convinced to do an autox a few days later.

hawk HP+ and stop tech slotted rotors for me, but thats more of a track setup and very loud/dusty. ive been told EBC yellow, or hawk HPS are good street pads that offer a nice upgrade over stock. for rotors, blanks are good enough i think

EBC yellow stuff has been working good for me for a year or so now. No tracking, daily during the summer. They are not noisy at all and I haven't noticed any more or less brake dust than the factory pads. I have factory size blank rotors, didn't see the benefit of drilled or slotted for me other than looks.

kindof thinking about HPS pads and just OEM rotors or just slotted rotors. Don't really like drilled on a daily

The rotors, especially the fronts are pretty large. Roughly 12.6".

Having a good pad and fluid goes a long way. Hawk hp+ with centric blanks is my favorite combo. Loud and dusty but the car slows down incredibly well with that combo from 120 mph +

I don't use my brakes hard if I don't have to. Gears and light braking on the street
