Right now in my engine I have the SP63 provided Mahle 4032 alloy pistons. I directed one of my friends to them and got a set for his speed3, but now we need to build one more engine for another group member and we're wondering how the Supertech 4032 pistons compare to the Mahle ones. Are they the same (rebranded), worse, better, equivalent?
I know @Torquemaniac is using them in his big turbo auto CX7 (that if he's on this forum) and he's having great success with his build, but I'd like to hear from other people as well, eventually people who used both.

    Thank you!

Ok, I just damaged my engine last Saturday so now I really have to rebuild the one I have in the balcony.
Anyone else using 4032 alloy pistons others than what SP63 is selling?

I can tell you in the LS world Mahle is one of the top/go to brands. I'm running a Mahle 4032 piston in my built LS1... i know way different engines but.... I have only heard good things about them.

Went for the Mahle's eventually, just did not buy them from SP63. I'm done with them forgetting to put things in the package or making parts look like they were sold as bulk and not as a set. The pistons came in a box, all parts inside.

Ok, reviving old thread. I need to rebuild the engine again.
No one using the Supertech pistons?

I ran supertech 4032 pistons on my turbo miata and they were used in a lot of builds, i never heard of any issues. I know not super helpful or doesn't compare them to mahle at all... but I have not come across issues or negative things with them. I wouldn't hesitate to run supertech pistons again.

Ok, I did not have the balls to go with the Supertech pistons. I acquired another set of Mahle from SP63 and they came packaged impeccably this time.

Just saw this post now, but I've been running the Supertech 88mm pistons. I have a few track days and lots of daily driving on the rebuild. I think right now I've got about 63k KM's on the rebuild engine and compression appears to still be 185 PSI across the board.
