So after selling my 06 ms6 and the 07 ms3 incurring body damage that wasnt worth fixing IMO considering it had a quarter million miles...i decided to look for an ms6 chassis to have my stuff swapped over to.

Rodney out in VA had an 07 GT with complete black leather interior with minimal rust and i made a deal with him to pick it up for $750 with no engine, but with a complete trans and transfer case.

The chassis has 111,5xx miles and was in decent shape. Minor rear 1/4 rust and the usual dings and scrapes a 12 year old car would have.

My buddy and i rented a Uhaul trailer and left Ohio at 2am on 8/19 and set out in his tundra to make the trip to Norfolk and pick it up!

Got home at 3am on the 20th and pushed the ms6 off the trailer and into my garage

    Plans and currently purchased parts:

    For now
    - 85k mile built motor from ms3 swapping in. High comp sleeved motor will eventually go in it.
-stock ms6 trans for now. Gen pu gears from my ms3 will get swapped over when sleeved motor goes in.
-billet bearing caps from speed solutions purchased and installed to transfer case
-kozmic downpipe for ms6 w/ cpe manifold and pte turbo
    -cpe pte vband ex mani
    -pte 6266 gen 1 JB
    -pte pw46 reg
    - dtpfab ms6 dumptube on order
    - @KingScumbag modified fuel basket with TI Hellcat 525 itfp with a bulkhead for return
    - jmf v2 PI w/ 4x 2200cc bosch injectors
    - 4 injector SSC
    -aeromotive fpr
-turbine tech rear diff mount bushings(will replace with upgraded diff mounts once new motor is ready..just have to not launch the car til then)
    - EBC YELLOW STUFF pads w/ centric blanks
    - muteki sr48 open ended lugs
    - arp extended studs for front hubs
    -damond rpm
    - awr pmm and tmm

Car was hauled off to oddball last Monday. And am hoping its together and drivable in a few weeks!

PS...dont buy anything from Justin Price.
I bought a rear bumper and a spoiler from him on 8/20.

He didnt ship it til exactly 21 days later thru greyhound.

It was so poorly wrapped/packaged...it showed up like this..

There is some rumor about a motec computer that Freek worked on, you can rev out to the moon with.

It would be nice on an MS6, just sayin...

I’m really regretting not doing the billet caps on my 6 lol Can’t wait to see this car with the high compression motor in it. I have wondered if going the higher compression route is better for getting more power or just running more boost is better. More torque with the higher comp ratios right?

Moreso doing the high comp for transient response with thr 6266 turbo. Not that it spools slow IMO as is ..but it'll light it up quicker

What compression is still safe for higher boost on our blocks? 12.5?

    Not sure tbh.

No one has really run 12:1+ other than enki, & mark (who i bought these pistons off of to get remade).

Marks car was the yellow line on this graph 10422121_772273313041_874504405826913934_n.jpg

Curious to see what it makes with similar boost and timing from the ms3 on the ms6

High comp will make more engine torque, however at the higher risk of detonation and higher engine heat. Most engines (not just our MZR) with higher compression need to use higher octane fuel. In our case, you'll find yourself using higher e85 mixes. You wont need as much boost to make xxHP, because you will be limited by how much compressed air you can stuff in the cylinder chamber.

On the flipside... If you run lower compression pistons, you make less engine torque so your engine will feel slower and turbo response will be later. When it comes to boost, you can run a hell of a lot more air (psi) in the cylinder chamber because of the extra volume available. So you will run more boost to make xxHP.

It's a balancing act, since they both have pro's and con's. Our OEM compression is a nice middle ground between the two.

On a side note, I'm excited to see another properly built MS6 on MSO.

I appreciate the thorough explanation and makes sense to me. I would say our compression is pretty good middle ground as well. Maybe a bit higher but with our fueling limits on stock fuel I would think higher compression would only be for people expecting to run aux fuel or stay under 300hp lol

In other news, we had planned for the ms6 to be ready for tuning yesterday on 9/27...guess what? Still no engine in the car...

    Cp-e safe seals FTL.

All 4 were leaking and 2 were stuck in the head. Thank goodness for pipe extractors. (Thanks @KingScumbag for the tip)

That's a bummer, are you going with Cpe again or swapping to CS this time?

Can you post a picture of these injector seals? No Facebook and I'm curious.

Here ya go. They look similar to the CS seals but are slightly different. And without the exorbitant shipping fees
