    It Runs!
Definitely a 10 footer. Need to buff the entire car and have some PDR done. And then get the rear bumper and spoiler painted

Coilovers need to go on as well. Stock suspension blows...haha

Looking good man! Is it tuned for the most part now or you still have a lot of work to do on it? Those are some great numbers for just now getting it all put together!! :)

Welp, I havent driven it at all since that update as the car is on 4 drag radials and its cold and snowy out. So no progress.

I still have to put the coilovers on as well. We'll get to it in the spring and then finish up the tune.

After nearly 7 months, look what finally showed up!

.250 wall wrist pins, high comp pistons, ring set from total seal and some wrist pin clips.

The pistons were modified from the original for oil squirter clearance and also for lubrication around the wrist pin.

Now to save up and order the timing components and then figure out where my cams are

'Bout damn time. Should have included a gift certificate for a free hj as an apology for the long ass wait.

    Some more comparison pics
Wrist pins are lined up with their perspective pistons.

The pin bore on the old pistons being out of round + old wrist pin being bent = doesnt even go thru the pin bore lol

Welp. Its been a very boring 6 weeks.

With working from home at a limited capacity and my take home salary being <50% of what it normally is each week with whats going on, the high compression buiid for this car is on hold until I can build some savings back up.

For now, what i did was went to where i stored the car this past weekend.

Hooked the fuel lines back up to the ghetto rigged ms3 top hat and basket w/hellcat pump thats in the tank, charged the battery and brought the car home.

    20200419_141423_HDR-01.jpeg

From there, what ive decided is this:

    This summer-
    1. Have PI injectors cleaned. Cyl 1 is clogged
    2. Install ISC coilovers ive had sitting in the garage
    3. Roll and pull fenders to clear the ET STREETS
    4. Install modified MS6 pump and basket with hellcat pump and radium venturi
    FB_IMG_1587677101107.jpg

Tune the car as is once that's done and just enjoy it with no 2nd gear (doesnt engage ever..just grinds and pops out) for highway stuff.

Then once ready, finish the high comp engine, install the wot box, vinyl wrap the car, swap my good gen 2 gear set into the trans, new seals for inside the transfer case (its leaking at the shaft that goes to the trans)

Did you put the holes in the bottom of the basket to help keep it full? Also wondering how well this pump works on your setup? I bought this pump for my 3 but decided to run a fuel cell instead. Hopefully I’m picking up a 6 this week and was going to run the hellcat pump in it.

There is one hole for where the venturi siphone comes out to pull from the other side of the saddle. But the new version ill be running wont do that as it allows the basket to empty when fuel level is low and starves the pump when taking higher G turns.

I forgot to close this thread as I sold this car last summer. But look at my 2006 ms6 build thread. It has a lot more info
