I have a 2013 Speed with tech package. Does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the BOSE headunit with an aftermarket one that has carplay? All I really want is to have carplay. I don't really want to replace anything else.

I put a Pioneer AVIV-7100NEX in mine and use the PAC Audio interface to keep the steering wheel controls. I added a Alpine power pack and still use the Bose amp for the center channel and subwoofer.

Thank you for the info! Unfortunately the carplay upgrade is on hold. I've got 104K miles on my speed and it looks like the stock suspension is starting to go. For the first time ever, my tires are showing signs of cupping.

I put in a Kenwood unit also using the PAC interface, easy install and works a charm. Just be sure that whatever head unit you buy has the correct input terminal for your particular interface; turns out some HUs only have the proprietary connector to work with the idatalink brand of interfaces (looking at you, Pioneer).
