I just found out about the Sure brand. I like their blue motor mounts, but I cant find anyone thats actually used them to know if they are any good or not.

All the bad reviews of SURE or StreetUnit were on the old forum MSF.

The parts were all made cheap, they all broke, and whenever fire was put under the owners (Cullen) ass he would flake and disappear.

All of those parts are shit. There is a reason no one on this forum runs any of their parts, unless you just happen to be new to the platform and dont know.

    Now you do...

All sure parts are junk. Though Cullen's girlfriend was a tranny before being a tranny was cool.

Stage one. It's fine for now but it will get worn out pretty fast.

    Motor mount bushings would disintegrate

Camber arms that split in half

    Manifold gaskets that would leak

I forgot what big name brand makes their BPV, but I've seen 5 of them and they all leak from the gaskets.

There was some issue with their intake, I cant remember.

Dont waste your time with any of those parts.

@Raider probably remembers more failures than I do

Duly noted. Right now, the plan is, budget withstanding, going with the following:

    CS fuel pump internals
CS turbo back exhaust (Catted. I'm in ATL, emissions. Heavy sigh.)
New TMIC (Dunno if its gonna be CS, CPE, or ETS)
    Graveyard exhaust manifold
New turbo (once the stock one dies)
    GenPu valve cover
    CS throttle body
    Catch can *maybe*
    Accessport (obviously)
    TMM (Probably Damond?)
PMM (I saw Raider post about using a new stock one)
    Wilwood brakes
Suspension overhaul (already underway. It came with a raceland ultimos setup, but something is off on the rear left side. Replaced both knuckles, axles, lower control arms, and swaybar links)

That's a tall list. Some good parts on there. Raceland coilovers were known to blow and not really be any good. Your problem might be a blown shock in the rear.

If you dont mind my asking, why do you have Wilwoods on your list? Do you plan to track the car at all once you get some of those parts on it?

Yes, I hope to get it to the track this summer for some roll racing. I'd like to get the seat time and some experience at a track before I decide if I'm going to go full on built motor with this car, or keep it as a sleeper street machine. I thought about just replacing the rear shocks to save some money, as the front pair seem to work just fine.

Budget wise the stock brakes with good pads are more than adequate for your first experiments on the track.

Duly noted. The rear calipers have to be replaced though. One of the previous 3 owners did a hack job. Jerry Rigg at its finest.

Just noticed the maybe on catch can, I'd take that maybe away and definitely install one it'll help keep your valves cleaner. Damond has some great kits for the speeds.

Then give em a clean and install a OCC, also if you can get away with deleting that EGR it'll help too. Or at the every least unplug it until you gotta do an inspection (valve defaults closed)
