I’ve done my homework but that don’t mean I’m getting a passing grade. I am in love with the Enkei Lusso 18x8 +40 and want to run the 235/40-18 tires. I have stock suspension at the moment but want to run the CorkSport set up soon. I don’t want to roll my fenders or anything like that. I’m pretty sure from looking at the figment page on here I should be ok but a little confirmation that I’m safe to order the wheels would be great. A picture of the wheels on a black gen 1 would be even better. Lol

You may have slight rubbing in the rear on bumps or after you lower it. But those specs are basically the same as stock other than the offset. The rear tabs are almost always an issue when doing anything to the suspension, wheel offset, or tire size

What's your concern about rolling the fenders? The rollers are afford, how to videos galore too.

One thing that makes me nervous to roll my rears (haven't had to do it yet per still on stock suspension even with wider tires) is water. when you roll those fenders you basically create a well for water to sit in and that makes me nervous about corrosion. it certainly depends on where you live and when you drive. also i've seen some people try to add some silicon, etc over the roll to keep water out but there isn't a lot of room in there to see coverage. that's been the one thing that's stopped me from upgrading my springs or change any suspension components.

It’s not really a concern , I just tend to over think everything. I hate doing something that’s harder to undo if for some weird reason I would ever need to. I don’t like the idea of road grit and grime getting stuck in there and holding moisture. Snow during the winter months etc. I know I could get in there with an air hose and clean it out but will I do it? Probably not. So if I roll it I would have to get in there and fill it with seam sealer or something or maybe clean it real good then under coat it heavily before I roll it. I really love a wheel with a polished lip and the more the better for me.
