Long story short I got my wheels balanced at the mazda dealership and the cleaning solution they used destroyed the paint on my wheels. They had a company come in and repaint them while they gave me a loaner. They had the car for over a week.

I live about 30 minutes from the dealership and halfway home the car started bucking anytime i gave it gas. I pulled off to the side of the road and sat for maybe 15 minutes with the engine off. I turned it back on and was able to drive it home like normal. Now however the problem is consistent. I cant pull out of my driveway without it bucking. I used my AP and found that fuel pressure was dropping to 0 when it happened, but I'm really no good at reading these logs. I have already replaced the MAF (with a known working one from my other ms6), primary O2 sensor, and spark plugs (a couple times). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The first 2 logs are me barely stepping on the gas and the bucking happening. Scared to give it anymore. The 3rd log is just sitting idling after pulling back into my driveway.

Also the car is completely stock.

I almost wonder if something is going on with your pressure sensor (or the wiring to it) it seems to be jumping awfully quick to 4.5v from 2.5v and down to 0. may want to check the plug is actually clicked in and hasn't worked itself loose or something. Seems like a reasonable guess considering it looks stable at idle.

It does seem to be plugged in all the way. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and heard the click. Starting to rain now so i cant check the wires thoroughly but nothing stood out to me just looking with a flashlight. Will check more in depth when the weather clears up.

Just for grins I swapped the fuel pressure sensor from my other ms6 to this one and the problem is gone! Car drives smooth again! Thank you @nekret ! I even swapped the original back in to see if the problem came back and it did, so I can be sure the sensor is my issue. The sensors look different also. I don't know if it really matters because this one worked for years until it didnt. The larger one is the one that is not working, and the smaller one is the working one from my other car.
My wife drives this one so I still have to order a pressure sensor for mine...lol
If i had gone to the dealership to get it checked out they would have tried to sell me the whole fuel rail.

for the autozone, sometimes they get 20% off online and you get the lifetime warranty, this sensor doesnt really go bad that fast. but if it does is a pain to look for one in stock.

I tried one of the cheap ones from Amazon (not the exact listing but the part looks identical) and on mine it just reads 2280 psi at all times. It seems like it should be the right part and fits fine so maybe I just got a dud. Ended up ordering one of the AutoZone ones.

Just to update this thread. I've been using that fuel rail sensor for a year now daily driving the car with no issues.
