Hi guys, new to the group.

Joined because I have owned a cx7 for nearly a month now and I'm pulling my hair out in frustration

My problem is that I'm getting a persistent oil leak from what seems to be the valve cover gasket, it's spilling onto the top of the exhaust manifold gasket, making its way to the corner then spilling down the side of my bellhousing.

    Im at my whits end.

    Parts replaced
    Hpfp metal gasket and o-ring
    Valve cover gasket
Oil feed crush washers (was leaking from alternator side when I bought it)
    Timing cover has been resealed

All gaskets have been OEM and yet I'm still chasing the leak

    Help!

Spilling sounds like a lot. Have you tried using some RTV to locate where exactly the oil is leaking through the gasket?

You can use an UV dye and black light to pinpoint, also did you use rtv?; There are spots marked in green that need rtv to not leak 1J3Pxdu.png Screenshot_20200809-083332.png
