I recently had the rear wheel bearings done on my wife's 2006 MS6. I trust the shop, and am a mechanic myself (just don't have a press for the bearings), and when I got it back they told me the rear right wheel speed/ABS sensor went bad during the process. I told them no big deal, I'd replace the sensor. The car drove fine, and the bearing noise was finally gone! The dash lights for Brake, ABS, TCS, and DSM were on as expected, but nothing felt off. I replaced the sensor and the lights are still on. I took it back to the shop and asked them to let me know if it was still reporting the right rear sensor. He told me it gave him a code of P3302 and nothing else. He reset it, the lights went off, but almost immediately came back on when driving. I'm finding almost nothing on this code for mazda online. I found one forum where OP had this code and lights, and it was his right rear sensor, the connector was faulty. However, he found it by watching the sensor data live, it never actually pointed him that way. Curiously, when I first start driving the car, the 4WD light blinks a few times, and you can tell it's not using all wheel drive, just the front. As I drive the car for a few seconds, the 4WD light goes off and the car feels normal. I put the car on my lift and got underneath to check the Power Take-Off unit and it seems ok. I've changed the transmission fluid in the past, but not PTO or Diff fluid, so those will be happening shortly while it's on the lift. I'm not finding much online about P3302. I'll be purchasing a MaxiSys scanner that can do ABS codes this week, but would like to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Might want to check that code again. However, P0302 would mean a misfire in cyl #2. Swap your coil pack on cyl 2 to another location and see if the code switches to the new cylinder. If so, replace the coilpack.
